My favorite artichoke is steaming like you did and then when they are cut in half bake them with salt/pepper/more lemon juice and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar

My family always makes “stuffed” artichokes! Lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, bread crumb, and minced garlic. We just steam them with all of the ingredients and it tastes amazingggg

Good luck injecting yourself. I found it easier injecting myself then having my husband do it. Plus your stomach gets very bruised from squeezing the skin/fat together to push it in. You GOT this. So excited for you
