Hi there, interesting question! I'm not sure why it's not sold there when Baby Jogger is based in the USA. It might be a question to put to Baby Jogger directly because it's a great product and quite popular in Australia. www.babyjogger.com/support/contact-us The GT2 is a great pram as well though! Let me know if you have any questions - Rachel
Same size/dimensions/materials and the clamps/framing is the same so you could theoretically even use a GT2 hood on an Elite 2 pram. Elite 2 hood has a couple of little extra flaps with mesh vents on the side though. And each hood has the name of the model embroidered in the fabric.
I think it would be good for travel if you're trying to balance size/weight with reasonable performance. It's definitely going to be a better experience pushing a city mini 2 over cobblestones compared to a carry on size travel stroller.
These aren't the most upright seats on the market because the seat fabric is built into the frame and the backrest is lifted by a strap recline. But then no pram seats will be a full 90deg and the slight angle difference between these and other strollers might not make that much of a difference for a little one who wants to sit forward and look out. They may be frustrated with any pram they sit in.
Hi Kristina, great question! The colour strollers I had in this video the GT2 is Opulent Black and the Elite 2 is Jet. The complete range of 2021 colours available in Australia: Elite 2 - Jet and Granite GT2 - Opulent Black, Stone Grey and Brick Mahogany Mini 2 - Opulent Black I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! - Rachel
Hi Alex, great question. I'm actually not sure. I don't know if they would, but they are very similar wheels to the older versions. It would be worth reaching out to your local Baby Jogger distributor to help you with spare parts - www.babyjogger.com/international-distributors.html
The Elite 2 is what I am trying to get for my child with additional needs. Currently he is 2 and already about 20kg. The higher weight limit of 34kg is the only reason I am looking at this pram.
Hi Amanda, I think the Elite 2 is such a great option for parents looking for a pram that will last them longer than a traditional stroller. You can also remove the canopy if they outgrow the space under the canopy (if you're using it for more like 5+ years) because the highest shoulder strap position is essentially at the top of the seat. Let me know if you have any questions! Rachel
@@ParentingCentral My main concern is being able to get his stuff under the pram. Is there an easy way to get bags and stuff under. The way the bar is across the back makes it seem difficult.
You can load things under that bar at the back or from the side. The fabric around the edge of the basket is stretchy so you can pull it down to make it a bit easier.
Are you sure the weight limits are correct?? The website states that both the GT2 and Elite 2 have weight limits of 22kg. I’m sure that it’s likely to withstand slightly more but 34kg is just over an additional 50% more than stated by the manufacturer
I know this is an old post so not sure if anyone will see this but I am wondering the same about the weight limits as when I am looking at the city mini GT2 (UK) it is saying the weight limit is 22kg! Not sure if weights are different in the UK
Hi Lindsay, thank you for your question. I don't believe that you can. They're not designed to be interchangeable and I also don't believe they would fit. - Rachel
For jogging/running the Baby Jogger summit X3 would be a better choice compared to the GT2 or elite 2 because it has air tyres, better suspension and some features specifically for running/jogging - th-cam.com/video/bkCedPtw4yQ/w-d-xo.html
Why is the elite 2 isn't sold in the USA? I really wanted to get that one, oh well I bought the city mini gt2.

Hi! Would you recommend city mini 2 for a european holiday (cobblestone streets)?

How are their most uprightness angle compared? I'm looking for an upright stroller for a curious toddler

Hi, do you know if the wheels from the newer mini 2 will fit the older model?
