Not the first Sony game on a Nintendo console since MLB The show is on the Switch but this is pretty cool. I wonder if they will be open to bring more games when the Switch 2 comes out as (according to leaks at least) it will be able to handle PS4 games and (most) PS5 games with a little bit of work
Sony doesn't own mlb. They act as developer. But they own horizon. This is not really same case with mlb. Also seems like guerilla involved as well. I am quite curious who is gonna show up as publisher at switch. For mlb, publisher is mlb. But my understanding is Sony publishing this game.
Prolly more Legos call than Sonys. Also tbf switch has the install base and this is exactly the kind of game that might get a switch player to consider a PS for horizon proper. Idk about anyone else but as a Sony person I'm not precious about a Lego horizon going elsewhere, hope it goes bananas and both franchises benefit.
The idea behind making this is probably to broaden the appeal of the Horizon IP and get kids to buy into the other games on PS5. Same with the Netflix TV show

Honestly given the pre-teenagers tone that Horizon clearly had with Forbidden West, which I really hated (graphics and combat were the only good things in the game), I think I'll prefer this Lego game overall to the actual real game
