It’s not just panini. It’s how our world works with greed. EA sports did the same thing with madden. Fanatics will make us feel good about their product for a few years, and then start the slide into cheap ripoffs like panini did
Bro what are you even talking about, if you think what Topps Fanatics is doing is good in comparison to Panini then I just don’t know what to say. Once they have a monopoly we will all know true pain and greed

China Owns American Sports cards and Mem. Economy. Noone does bigger numbers than China on Ebay Amazon Mercari Poshmark Etc. Monopoly courtesy a demonic greed and algo's
Topps is already at the greed stage. Fanatics definitely send juiced boxes to their influencers, and the lack of randomization with their boxes is very suspect in my opinion.
I love the hobby, and I love ripping wax to add cool shit to my collection, but if this keeps up I’m out. The rapid increase in retail box prices because of what resellers make on the secondary market alone is enough to sour my grapes, lol

So I won a hobby box of 23 clearly in a PYP break I joined on fanatics live (I hit a chase spot, and my spot won a box instead of a player). Not bad for $22!
My question is, do you think I should rip it or sell it? I know I’ll be able to break even on the product due to the fact that I only put $22 into it, but if I’m not going to get anything cool, I could always get a different hobby box…

I like it when you put the price of the more worthy cards. Getting back into the hobby. Would like to know what some are worth
Thats why i do it for most videos! Its not about making your money back to me but more to show the rarity and the value of some of the cards so others know what they are looking for

Dang I must’ve got lucky. Videos I see people are getting bad autos and in two boxes I got a /99 hyatt auto and a /49 puka auto. Might call it quits already haha
I feel like Panini knows their time is neatly up, the hobby is booming and so they are price gauging while they can. But what sucks is that once fanatics and topps takes over they can and will charge these ridiculous prices… and the it’s going out price the casual collector and there will be another decline

I know I’m usually critical of Panini, but good lord these are a new low for them. $250 for this is absolutely absurd!

Just left my card shop bought a box didn’t even get my auto called panini they said they’re not gonna do anything abt it
Ive tried to get panini to fulfill missing autos and it is worse than pulling teeth. Some of the worst customer service out there

Why complain that Panini jacked up the price by $100 when you’re just like, oh well I’ll pay it anyway…if people stopped buying overpriced products the prices would come back down to earth…but as long as people keep paying the higher prices to make content or whatever the reason, why should Panini lower the prices? They aren’t in it for the fun of it, they are making bank, big time…at least until the clock runs out and Fanatics takes over.
