    Kirk, love all your videos! We have commented back and forth before about trucks in the past....consider keeping the pickup bed on that truck. I'm the 4th generation of electrician and my family taught me to never mix your personal and work vehicles as it will never be as efficient. Your f350 dual wheel is the epitome of a contractor truck. Besides capacity, saving on gas via less trips, time saving...it also strikes an image to people. It says "I get things done". I've had people admire my efficiency in my dual wheel service truck... when I open my cabinets and they see everything labeled and organized...they want some of that efficiency and success in their home. So unless you have to, keep that pickup the way it is, it has a classic contractor vibe and save up for another dual wheel service truck to make money with! God bless

    41 years of tile. I like a long bed, low to the ground. I was rocking two 8 foot long Weatherguard toolboxes ($!500), 30 inches high, mounted up on the rim of the bed. You can stack full plywood sheets in the bed, strap 30 backer board vertical against the side of the toolbox, still have room for a mortar box, sand and tools, all with just an F150 (helper springs and load range D rear tires). The trick is to mount the boxes up on the sides of the bed without mounting down in the bed area at all. If you put 1 inch square steel into the post holes in the truckbed, weld some 1 1/2 inch angle iron around a 16 inch by 8 foot long platform welded to the steel posts, sitting up on the edge of the bed, just above the truck. The two sides are made sturdy by a front angle iron running under the rear window. This is all you need. Drill and bolt toolboxes to the platform, they float just above the truck body. You can stack crazy amounts of insulation and pine straw, the sides of the whole bed are like 5 feet tall and very tough. This way you can carry all your tools even the weird stuff, all the time and it's dry and secure and locked up tight. Plus you can carry anything XD

      @@StuccoPlastering exactly. Splashes up and collects between the inner fender and bedside where there's sound dampening foam and rusts out above the rear wheels.
      Picked up Mor-Flexx on your previous recommendation, worked great! 👍 They have it at Lowe's locally now.

    Hello Kirk, thanks for the tutorial! I'm looking at options to fill my 1/8 and 1/4 inch stucco cracks. Can you explain why you like sikaflex instead of quad max or a GE silicone sealant? Appreciate all the help you can provide!

    • @StuccoPlastering
      @StuccoPlastering  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In this video, I'm using Morflexx, not Sikaflex, as Moreflexx has sand in it which matches most stucco finishes.
      In regards to when I use Sikaflex 1A, which is a polyurethane caulking that is also a sealant and adhesive. I use this sika when sealing or waterproofing, usually when we are lathing. Silicone caulking is often used to seal, aquariums like fish tanks, bathtubs and kitchen sinks, and other appliances in the kitchen.

      They sell this round foam in many sizes called "backer rod" I prefer to use Sikaflex polyurethane caulking as it's an adhesive sealant. That method lasts forever. where the backer rod has too many gaps in the rear of it.

      Good morning Cool Beans, the cut at the tip depends on the crack, sometimes for tiny ones, I slice it close to the tip, at an angle. For large cracks, I cut it closer to the bottom so that a lot comes out or what's needed to fill a bigger crack. I don't want too much excess on the wall, but just in the crack.
