i had such bad anxiety in this scene. i related too much to how mihashi was feeling when hatake came over and began to talk him down. watching it over isnt as bad as it was the first time, but it still makes me uncomfortable just thinking about what could’ve happened if abe didn’t come in when he did. also, personal experiences lol. mihashi is such a sweetheart and i want to protect him from everything.
im too used to shonen where people beat each other up. I really hoped that Abe or someone or maybe the whole team would at least confront the Mihoshi team. Beat hatake for good measure.
I think mihashi is a good pitcher, he got the ability it just that his personality suck n mentally weak, doesn't match a usual pitcher character *probably that's why they named the anime like that# it's quite frustrating seeing mihashi always quivering like that, it's probably hard on him too😩

But, the year before this, Mihashi was on a team that lost every game they played for the entire year, and everyone on the team blamed him for it (minus one person.) This is why Hatake is so angry and threatens him. He was Mihashi's pitcher for the entire year of lost games. (Though he never should have done any of this.)
