When said creator kept giving Madara asspulls until he couldn't kill him anymore. Seriously automatically knowing how to break out of Edo Tense, eyeless Susanoo, absorbing Hashirama's chakra with the ability to absorb is really pulling it, and many other asspulls. Plus his plan realistically would never of worked, because Obito betrayed him and a whole bunch of other factors came into play.

Black Zetsu, the parasite, didn't kill Madara. He got possessed by Kaguya, the true form of Gedo Statue. Madara died cause of chakra exhaustion and Bijuu extraction.

Madara fights for a world as close to peace as possible, the allience for what they know and what´s precious to them.

But humans haven't really spent time on thinking about what they are actually doing so then you get wars and trouble maintaining peace. +Jason Guderian Madara was the guy who helped in achieving true peace. It was to stop him and his plan that all the nations joined hands and became friends or else they would have been wiped off the face of the planet.
*Spoiler Alert* Madara was actually a really good guy, he was just manipulated the same way Obito was. In Madara's eyes he was saving the Shinobi world and ultimately would do anything to accomplish that. He was convinced Hashirama's way was a failure and got deceived by the Uchiha Stone tablet which Black Zetsu rewrote. "His" final plan would be the Infinite Tsukuyomi in which he thought he would give every Shinobi their happy ending. Yes he killed a lot of people to accomplish it but he proposed a more peaceful method before. It wasn't until he found out he was used by Zetsu and Kaguya that he muttered, "Hashirama, where did I go wrong?" A self reflection so to speak. If he had known what the Infinite Tsukuyomi actually was I'm 99% he wouldn't do it. In the words of Itachi, "people live their lives bound by what they accept as correct and true." Madara was simply trying to save the world in a misguided direction. This is why he is one of my favorite fictional characters.
You see this Anime has very deep meaning that nobody is the bad guy all corrupted by this world even Kaguya was one's good to people but was misunderstood that is the same case with all the characters in this anime....just sad that it reflects reality so much

However, Madara turned out the way he did because of Black Zetsu and Kaguya. If you look at young Madara he was actually very kind and loving, especially to his brother and Hashirama. They even built Hidden Leaf and attempted to achieve peace. He later got manipulated into committing terrible things that made him who he was. Kaguya is the real villain, she is pure evil. She ate the divine tree and felt that all belonged to her.
You realize how much of a badass villain/hero Madara is When you realize Madara wanted peace. Yes maybe his method was wrong. But he certainly succeeded cause all of the nations united to fight him. Therefore he brought peace. Even if for a little while.

Sasuke was handed EVERYTHING if you think about it. He was literally taking drugs when he was with Orochimaru training. And lets not forget he achived Mangekyo Sharingan by killing his brother because Itachi let him. Itachi only extended his life with medicine so that he could face Sasuke, draw Orochimaru's curse mark out, and seal it away to get rid of it's awful power. Never compare a Genius i.e. Like Itachi to a GOD i.e. Madara. Kishimoto didn't know how to get rid of him so he used the fact that Black Zetsu could use his chakra to bring back his mother. That was the only way to take him down. You couldn't beat him any other way. Itachi is smart yes, he had that Search Results Sword of Totsuka and he also had that the Yata Mirror, but compared to the pure power and force of Madara he would have only withstood him not stopped him. Madara would have finished him. Itachi was a genuis that of a Hokage, but not that of a GOD. I'm not a fanboy, just a fan who acknowledges power and dominance when I see it. Look what he did to the shinobi alliance, he killed them whilst being totally calm. Think about this could Itachi stop Tengai Shisei? No way he would have used his Susano'o to maybe shield himself, but not a second one. Who knows how many he could drawn in from space. How does one draw in meteors from space. Madara was a pure transmitgant. It's beautiful just how powerful one can be.
Madara was one of the greatest antagonists I have ever seen and he also had a cause to fight for, unfortunately, he was given one of/if not the worst death in the entire Narutoverse, I mean really, getting stabbed by a black Zetsu? Don't sleep on Itachi too much. I still think Madara could win in a fight against him, but Itachi could probably give him a good fight, especially if he was healthy. Plus, the Tengai Shinsei? That was from Edo Tensei Madara who received multiple power-ups (Edo Tensei body, Hashirama cells, Rinnegan). Not only did he need the Rinnegan to do it, but he needed Edo Tensei to survive the 2 meteors. That's Madara with help. You were comparing a powered-up Madara to Itachi. Its better to use the Madara from his "glory days" against Hashirama since that's the most powerful he got on his own (no power-ups given to him/help), not counting the 9 Tails. And if you think about it, Hashirama was even more of a freak than Madara. Madara couldn't even beat him with the help of the 9 tails. And by far the biggest freak-beast in all of Naruto was Might Gai.

Itachi and Madara's MS weren't power-ups that were exactly handed on a plate to them like the Edo Tensei or Hashirama cells, so we won't count them as outside help for conversation's sake. And iirc, the Shisui's spare eye wasn't something Itachi used in battle, and it wasn't something he could use with the snap of his fingers either. The Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror were kinda random and almost kinda @sspull-ish, but I guess they count. They're still no Rinnegan, Immortal Body, and Hashirama cell level power-up though. And we have no proof that Madara would know about the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror. All in all, I still think Madara would win in a fight, but Itachi would put up a really good fight.

Seriously automatically knowing how to break out of Edo Tense, eyeless Susanoo, absorbing Hashirama's chakra with the ability to absorb is really pulling it, and many other asspulls. Plus his plan realistically would never of worked, because Obito betrayed him and a whole bunch of other factors came into play.

Fun fact: Madara was still powerful enough to survive several minutes while all other jinchuuriki just died (would have also happened to Naruto if it wasn't for Gaara and Sakura)

Madara fights for a world as close to peace as possible, the allience for what they know and what´s precious to them.

*Spoiler Alert* Madara was actually a really good guy, he was just manipulated the same way Obito was. In Madara's eyes he was saving the Shinobi world and ultimately would do anything to accomplish that. He was convinced Hashirama's way was a failure and got deceived by the Uchiha Stone tablet which Black Zetsu rewrote. "His" final plan would be the Infinite Tsukuyomi in which he thought he would give every Shinobi their happy ending. Yes he killed a lot of people to accomplish it but he proposed a more peaceful method before. It wasn't until he found out he was used by Zetsu and Kaguya that he muttered, "Hashirama, where did I go wrong?" A self reflection so to speak. If he had known what the Infinite Tsukuyomi actually was I'm 99% he wouldn't do it. In the words of Itachi, "people live their lives bound by what they accept as correct and true." Madara was simply trying to save the world in a misguided direction. This is why he is one of my favorite fictional characters.
You see this Anime has very deep meaning that nobody is the bad guy all corrupted by this world even Kaguya was one's good to people but was misunderstood that is the same case with all the characters in this anime....just sad that it reflects reality so much

However, Madara turned out the way he did because of Black Zetsu and Kaguya. If you look at young Madara he was actually very kind and loving, especially to his brother and Hashirama. They even built Hidden Leaf and attempted to achieve peace. He later got manipulated into committing terrible things that made him who he was. Kaguya is the real villain, she is pure evil. She ate the divine tree and felt that all belonged to her.

As much as people refer to Madara as the "bad guy", I see no other working alternative in the pursuit of peace. What is wrong with Madara's plan? It makes literally everyone happy and fixes all problems in the current world.

Sasuke was handed EVERYTHING if you think about it. He was literally taking drugs when he was with Orochimaru training. And lets not forget he achived Mangekyo Sharingan by killing his brother because Itachi let him. Itachi only extended his life with medicine so that he could face Sasuke, draw Orochimaru's curse mark out, and seal it away to get rid of it's awful power. Itachi saved him and handed him the Mangekyo. Any other things people want to add to the list of why Sasuke is a lazy achiever?

I'm fine with the ending but I wish we got more chapters of their battle with Madara. I felt like it was just heating up. Hopefully the anime adds to it. They've given us enough fillers for fuck's sake.

Sword of Totsuka and he also had that the Yata Mirror, but compared to the pure power and force of Madara he would have only withstood him not stopped him. Madara would have finished him. Itachi was a genuis that of a Hokage, but not that of a GOD. I'm not a fanboy, just a fan who acknowledges power and dominance when I see it. Look what he did to the shinobi alliance, he killed them whilst being totally calm. Think about this could Itachi stop Tengai Shisei? No way he would have used his Susano'o to maybe shield himself, but not a second one. Who knows how many he could drawn in from space. How does one draw in meteors from space. Madara was a pure transmitgant. It's beautiful just how powerful one can be.
Madara was one of the greatest antagonists I have ever seen and he also had a cause to fight for, unfortunately, he was given one of/if not the worst death in the entire Narutoverse, I mean really, getting stabbed by a black Zetsu? A mommas boy? Madara was a GOD, and he certainly did not deserve such a pitiful death, it actually saddens me that such a thing happened.
Don't sleep on Itachi too much. I still think Madara could win in a fight against him, but Itachi could probably give him a good fight, especially if he was healthy.
Plus, the Tengai Shinsei? That was from Edo Tensei Madara who received multiple power-ups (Edo Tensei body, Hashirama cells, Rinnegan). Not only did he need the Rinnegan to do it, but he needed Edo Tensei to survive the 2 meteors. That's Madara with help. You were comparing a powered-up Madara to Itachi.
Its better to use the Madara from his "glory days" against Hashirama since that's the most powerful he got on his own (no power-ups given to him/help), not counting the 9 Tails.
And if you think about it, Hashirama was even more of a freak than Madara. Madara couldn't even beat him with the help of the 9 tails.
And by far the biggest freak-beast in all of Naruto was Might Gai.
Even with what you said. Madara in his glory days. Itachi is uncomparable to him. Itachi was just a genius, a bit like Kakashi. They are just smart, flawless shinobi. Not GOD-like like Hashirama and Madara. Look at how Tobirama roused his chakra when speaking to sasuke. These shinobi were war vets. Itachi is strong he is my 2nd fav Uchiha after Madara.

In terms of talking about Power ups. Itachi had several, Shisui spare eye, his MS, the Totsuka blade, the Yata mirror. That's powerful enough in his prime. Even with this Madara could take him trust me, Madara knows about all these things so he'll be able to counter it. From when he is reversing edo tensei. If one can reverse the effects of being controlled as a puppet via death. I'm sorry Madara is a demon.

Itachi and Madara's MS weren't power-ups that were exactly handed on a plate to them like the Edo Tensei or Hashirama cells, so we won't count them as outside help for conversation's sake. And iirc, the Shisui's spare eye wasn't something Itachi used in battle, and it wasn't something he could use with the snap of his fingers either. The Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror were kinda random and almost kinda @sspull-ish, but I guess they count. They're still no Rinnegan, Immortal Body, and Hashirama cell level power-up though. And we have no proof that Madara would know about the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror.
All in all, I still think Madara would win in a fight, but Itachi would put up a really good fight.
