2013 4th of July Fireworks Setup!

- I starting setting up on July 3rd hooking up igniters to all the product as well as loading shells into the mortars. The setup went pretty well and only my girlfriend helped me setup. I should have the video of the show posted on the 6th. Now I have to go setup another show for tonight! :)

I tried something new for this years show. I tried to get bigger, more symmetrical breaking cakes rather than a bunch of 200g cakes going off to fill the sky. You might think less was going on, which is true, only because I was trying to make it look more like a professional show. However, you can't beat a canister filled sky puke finale! - บันเทิง

nice set up made the mistake of having some excals in a "poor mans rack" and didn't have secure enough yep I was surrounded in exploding excals...I had one tube I believe explode or be launched to who knows where...My bro filmed it and had to duck from a round coming his way...Next year buy a 30 shot rack to go with my 10 and be safe..I do have to say thanks for the lesson on building multiple cakes I put four together and it was a big hit..

you no what i cant really complain because i live in a state that mostly has wild fires so we barley can have fireworks but mostly looks like this year we can have a 4th of julybecause its raining a lot but i love the vids keep up the good work

You dont know what pvc from home depot would have to be to handle these? I have many racks I made. Those are easy. I just needed to know if I could buy long pvc tubes and cut them. Thanks.
i did something like this one year. spend about 250$ was the best one i ever had. love being part of the crew to light it. i'm guessing the pipes are made out of PVC pipe?
don't use PVC, it shatters. Those pipes are HDPE (High density polyurethane)

nice set up and an awesome show. i just started using an ignition system and was wondering what type igniters u use and the success rate on them?
I used the snap fire things under the toilet seat and my sister sat down and thought she broke the toilet xDDDD

What kind of pvc tubes are you using. I can see the excaliburs but the orange ones look store bought. I am concerned about buying pvc that cannot handle excalibur sheels (canister shells). What specs do they have so I can buy some. Thanks.

I do about half of you but I put them on a table and then on a trailer so it is really easy to clean up

right now i'm not old enough to buy my own fireworks so i only am allowed novelties and fountains. but that will all change when i'm 18. ;)

Nice! I had some total exposure mortars i dont think they were behai though it was all fun and games until my brother put the shell upside down and fuck'd the tube
How Much did the case of Excals run you?
I love the corn field, my dad wont let me shoot my show out at our wheat farm (I don't blame him)... didn't stop me from shooting a thunder king out there though.... check out my vids of this year!!!

I sent you an email earlier. If you didn't see it I was asking if you had 4 spare fiberglass mortars and 6 Excalibur tubes. I am building racks and I need these to complete them. Thanks.

So I noticed you have the Excalibur tubes screw and made into a rack , do you keep them for future racks for other canister shells? Or do you not recommend that
Wyatt Ballinger Oh I definitely keep all my Excalibur tubes. I normally just screw mine to a board as shown in this video since it is easy to do. I have seen others that remove part of the base and create racks though.
Oh, as far as using other shells, as long as they are same diameter you'll be fine. If the shells are too small, they will break low.

i like laying sticky match over my guns. that shit burns 80 ft per second plus its alot easier then running fuse and using tons of zip ties

There are several places I would recommend. My favorite is pyroboom.com, but I would also check out addyracks.com and pyrodirect.com.
