The western media always purposely portray anything outside western world as an evil or like hell. But the reality is completely different based on my experience.

The reason why Fel's channel has become so popular is because it shows a dark-skinned African man being treated positively in a country that our media has told us hates us and is hostile and racist towards us. It's a direct contradiction to what we've been taught to believe. Not all Chinese Americans are like this! But it has happened often enough that the stereotype still exists in people's minds.

They have their own version of TH-cam in China. Just like many parents who shares the same beliefs of China, they wouldn't trust a foreign program to influence their kids. Especially things that happens in the US with the way kids are shooting kids, high speed chase, like they were playing a game but people get hurt. All these violence and stupidity needs to be controlled. It's their choice to embrace it but its also China's choice to censor it. Don't you worry too because the people in China who doesnt like the censorship are free to move to the US and those like it can move to China. That's real freedom, not imposing ones beliefs onto others and call oneself Master of Freedom.
Literally what I did as a kid growing up in China.... I'd be playing on the beach and everyone wanted photos so I charged money and they'd actually pay... it's funny that 20 years later some things don't change
