What is an example of a kind of message/something D1 would be sending to another D device via broadcasting using ARP protocol? You mentioned a frame BUT frame of what? For example: an email, print request, remote connection session, etc what is in the frames going back and forth? Or is there not message in the frame of a broadcast, its just sending a frame another device to check that its the right device before sending frames or packets containing data via a different protocol?
nice explanation. So if ARP cache stores the corresponding MAC associated with the IP but if the IP changes and reassigned it to a new host before the cache expiry, then by looking the ARP cache the packet would go to a different host. so how this problem could be resolved.
Here the same router is gateway for both sales and marketing departments? Or will there be two gateways to each local network and there will be some router to router communication?
It really depends on ur network design but in ideal scenario you wud like to have two different gateway for your 2 major department networks such as marketing and sales
Airtel and jio are using arp services to lock actual speed of users.. and engineer backend team using that connection at their home at free of cost using mapping IP and arp
Thanks for the explanation. Now what about getting hands on experience to get real life gands on experience . I'm a newb so I don't know if hackthebox is ok for me if I'm newb still learning .

Router will not do broadcasting, broadcast can happen at switch level.
