I'm just getting into retro gaming so it's all pretty new to me, it is a cool game. On looking it up, turns out it was the top selling Intellivision game from 1982. It's also the subject of a notorious TV ad from the time where the Mattel Electronics spokesperson brags about "our most amazing visual effect ever: total destruction of a planet!" This was used as an example of the violence in video games.
@@stereogramfan Yeah it would've been, I know I'm a little sarcastic in the video but I was pretty amazed by the graphics. They're better than I expected. The choice to make the fighter dark blue so it's invisible on the black sky however is annoying.
