I don't know why I love nanke's animations so much. It's less flashy than the other pros but there's something so charming in the timing and drawings. I keep coming back to this video
theres another animator who did work for nhk too that being keiko tanaka i would love to see a reel done for her or see some of her work again she had a charming art style just like nanke
What's the bit at 4:31 from? Anime draws Caucasians with square jaws and also sometimes draws Americans in American comic book styles. Kinda wondering what's going on.
The sample comes from an orchestral piece called "Flowery Wind". It was composed by Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop, GITS Stand Alone Complex, etc.) for the video game "Nobunaga's Ambition: Chronicles of Heaven", and was arranged for and performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra. Here's a link to a video of the piece: th-cam.com/video/SU36hWcAUgA/w-d-xo.html
Gotta love how "sakuga" isn't just flashy, slick, and stylish; just a bunch o' showin 'off how confident they are.

his style looks simple but he's tremendously skilled! he's probably one of the greatest animators in japan in terms of sheer technical ability
Urisei Yatsura was one of my all time faves from back before anime was this main stream. In some strange way reminded me of I dream of Jeanie
Truley one of the bests.....man i wish i couldve learn from his style!
The Golden Bird looks excellent even for today. Very cool art style. Great music choice!
theres another animator who did work for nhk too that being keiko tanaka i would love to see a reel done for her or see some of her work again she had a charming art style just like nanke
there should be more animation style like koji nanke's tbh
1:34 I don't know, something about that cat with the trapezoid head I find appealing. His black eye bags are so cute.
My favorite Animation creater.
Thanks for putting this together! Such wonderful, fun animation and even some childhood memories.
I recently discovered Mrs. Pepperpot and was glad to see Koji worked on that as a character designer!
this is really good and i will never stop watching this
I love this so so much
My favorite Japanise Animation creater.
Wow he animated most of the Urusei Yatsura intros! I wonder how long that took him, especially at the time when everything was traditionally animated
wow! Thank you for this!
I've only seen the work he's done for Urusei Yatsura up until now.
Greta to see you back.
noice
ty
yo fkin geniussss
1:56 ..so that's what ScottFalco used. The more I know
If he indeed worked on Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost, I'd say he animated the Hex Girls music video scene.
Please, do Ralph Bakshi's animation compilation
I like Japanese animation
(*´︶`*)♡Thanks! From Anime Company Project manager👨🏻💻‼️
KYORO CHAN YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please ibcf, can you make more animator reels?
Anybody know sample from "Overflow"?
It's missing the Scooby-doo stuff

TH-cam typo
I gotta know the sample to "Anamnesis" by Esbe, message me if you know it.

I can't find the sad moongose
the sad mongoose is up on dailymotion
Anime when down hill when it abandoned it's Western influence.
While I disagree, I do miss anime's western influences.
@@noir269 Reminded of Mrs. Pepperpot watching this, Koji worked on that show as a character designer!
