The slugs are pronounced Svarok, accent on 2nd syllable. Svarok is God of Fire, in Russian. You can buy these products, including wads, tools, etc. direct from their website at 1/3 the price they are being sold for here , and shipping to me on the East Coast was 2 weeks - just saying......
I made some roll crimp 2" finished size 12ga slug loads with fiocci clear hulls, longshot, frangible szarog, and BPI brush wad. Put a 20ga 1/8th" cork between between the slug and wad so the slug does not cant on the little lip when screwed to the wad. Fun loads for blowing up water bottles and can fit an extra round in the 870 and the Tristar Raptor ATAC.
Pneumonia is miserable. I have asthma and I've developed it two years in a row after catching the flu (yes, I had flu shots). It takes a good 6-8 weeks to fully recover. Hope you feel better!
I noticed that you use the Lee Powder Disk Measure and when you test your powder charge they are always for hand gun and consistent. I'm loading for 30-06 using the Drum measure. i'm trying to figure out why I can't get consistence charges like you.Ant Ideas. Thank You
FortuneCookie45LC I was wondering if we could use a pellet slug backwards with a hole either drilled or moulded in the centre so a screw could be used to fix the slug to the wad. Maybe it would act as a stabilizer and increase accuracy in a smoothbore as it does with the russian slug, just a thought.
Probably was Covid19, but there wasn't much Covid19 testing available back then. However a CT scan, if taken then, will show features that will allow determination if it was or was not Covid19.
I enjoy your videos immensely, however it bothers me that you keep saying that the reloaders network is the same price as buying from Russia. I bought direct from Svarog using my PayPal (so I don't give anyone my credit card number). It was under $55USD delivered for a mould and two core pins.
With the current panic, I'm starting to associate pneumonia as a symptom of the corona virus. Looking back, do you think that's what caused your pneumonia?
Hi I 've never commented on your video's before . But I enjoy your videos very much. I only have 1 lever rifle. A Marlin 444ss 22" microgrove barrel. I got it New in 1991. I have a good collection of rifles and shotguns and enjoy archery even pellet rifles spring piston break barrel magnums. I served thirty years in the United States Army almost twenty in the Ranger Regiment.I retired in 2010. I don't hunt anymore because of wounds sustained while in service and I don't like the blood sport anymore. I'm tempted to get another lever rifle in a pistol caliber. What would you recommend. I just started reloading for 3006, 444, 308,and 8mm. It seems that you like the 44 magnum lever rifles. I hope you get better and maybe you can help choose a caliber. Thanks for your video's.
I like the Rossi 92's, they have ideosyncracies like a safety and sometimes the action could use some polishing, but a lot of people like them and you can find used ones in .454 Casull - a reloader's dream that uses the same diameter bullets as .45 Colt and .45 ACP, with high magasine capacity and the power of moderate 45-70 loads. That;s what tempts me, as I could use molds I already have, and also I could eventually pick up a BFR revolver in .460 S&W to go with it (which can also shoot .454 Casull).
I also like good break barrel magnums. I have a Diana 350, that thing may still be someone's treasured posession in a hundred years. It has the steel sights and type 6 trigger - a fine German made pellet rifle. The Benjamin Discovery can be a lot of fun - the barrel is a bit flexible but I still get good accuracy with it, and it can be filled by 2200lbs pressure, which is better than most of the PCP's out there. Lower pressure = easier to fill, and far more fills off a single scuba tank. I can get over a thousand shots off a single 3200 PSI filled scuba tank!
@@deandeann1541 I just purchased a Henry Big boy in 357 /38 special. It's really nice and very accurate. Although I might put Skinner sights on. It's fun to shoot
@@deandeann1541 I have three Hatsan springers The 125 sniper in .25 caliber and .22 caliber. Also I was given a Striker in.22 caliber as a gift. So I'm hooked on pellet rifles now. I don't think I would get a PCP I have too much already.
Hey fortune, got a question. I've got a lee 230gr 45 acp lrn mold. Its throwing avg 125.. how much variation is ok or acceptable and do I drop powder gr from the 230 information for the load as well to suit the lighter weight? I cant find much Info on this.. please help.

It didn't take them long to demonetise this video did it. I didn't see any adds at the start of the video. You got to realize these people will never be satisfied. I wish you luck dealing with the You Tube people. It can't last forever something else will come along after they piss enough people off and they will go out of business.
Enjoyed your videos. Do you email? Dad and I and grandson would like to email you. NRA, CRPA, in Pollusi California :( too. Also, we hope you are much much better. Eat lots of lemons Vitamin C to combat the bug.

Sorry about your pneumonia. I had it eight months ago along with pulmonary embolisms. Never did fully recover.
Blue dot is beginning to become my favorite powder.
Glad to see you’re recovering! It’s all good, when I need a fortune cookie fix I hit the rerun button!
You had corona before everyone knew it was corona

I haven't had the flu shot in years. I never get the flu. 🤷
Flu shot is your problem, we’ve all been lied to
Glad you getting over it.
What Svarog mold is this? You didn't say or show the name on the box.
Hey cookie, great video. I hope you recover soon from being down with your health.
Feel better, Sir!

The wad is not to stay attached during flight. If it did it would be more susceptible to cross winds and slow down the slug.
Swarog is cheap copy of AS. AS goes for about the same cost but 10 times higher quality
Andddd thank you for this iformation. This svarog loocked odd to me.
