i have always wanted to be a midwife ever since i was young.i am currently in yr 11 and i am a few months away from sitting my first gcse's i have started to really enjoy watching midwifery videos like yours as it gives me the boost to really want to achieve my dream of being a midwife.i think what you are doing is amazing and i can wait to live out my dream like im sure you are :)
Sometimes I regret doing nursing because my heart lies in Midwifery a lot. Which is why I might go into neonatal. There is something so happy about a birth and it always makes me emotional. What you do is amazing x
I don't think I'd be a good person to do that as I don't use it properly. Plus, I've got personal details in there so I'm not sure how it would work. Sorry, Sophie
Hey, I'm not sure I'd be able to find them online as I either got given it from someone or I bought it in person but I'll try when I have some more free time
After my first 12.5 hour shift in the hospital I was like "are these even worth it, my feet feel fine". I then got in took them off and tried to put my foot on the ground and almost cried at how hard the floor was and how sore my feet were 😂But Sketchers might work as well if they had a thickish sole
Hi Louisa I have started my access course online yesterday. I am planning to start my degree in september 2020. Can you please give more tips on study access course. I am studying after almost 8 years. How hard are uni admissions?
Hey, Good luck with your course! My tips would be a bit rusty as it's been awhile but I have a whole playlist on how my access course went with some tips in there. It's called 'My journey to university'. If you go back 2 year the videos should be there. For me it was a bit hard with the tests but I got in on my first round which isn't normally the case apparently.
Hey hopefully you respond but is it hard for a person to become a midwife nurse when math and science is hard for them because I am not that good at math or science and I’m just afraid to make mistake
Being Louisa thank you so much for replying and alright that exactly what I would im pretty sure I understand some of biology science but I’m not confident in it but I will take more classes
Being Louisa I have so many floating around my bag. I've only been on antenatal clinic so far so I haven't lost any yet. (Besides the one that went through the wash, stained my scrubs and promptly died) Postnatal next week will be the true test...

You could always do the 18 month top up midwifery degree to then become a midwife, if you’re doing adult nursing x
I'm starting my postgrad in September & only yesterday was making a list of essentials I would need. This video came at the perfect time 👌🏾
I'm glad I could help 😀
Can you do a review of your happy planner please 😍🙏🏼

It is really good though! I use one for nursing!
Hi Louisa, can you please put up links of your products in the description box below? Thank you and liked your video

Hi where did you get your planner from?? Xx
Hey, I believe it’s the happy planner company. However, I didn’t use it for the whole year so I don’t know how worth the money it is xx
@@BeingLouisa awh okay thanks for the snappy response! I start hopefully in January x
hi, what stethoscope do you have? i am a first year student and my uni said they cant recommend a brand!
It depends on what you like. I have an expensive one because I can't hear half the time. I have a Littmann
Aw so useful thank you. Part of me wonders if the clarks shoes are worth the hype or sketchers hmm.

It was the Happy Planner Company. But to be honest I didn’t really use it that much. Not a lot of people that I know who had it used it

You don't really need Maths but you do need Biology Science. Maybe you could take some extra classes to get your skills up
Being Louisa thank you so much for replying and alright that exactly what I would im pretty sure I understand some of biology science but I’m not confident in it but I will take more classes
It's no problem. That'd be good I think :)
what are the good books of midwife ?thanks
Mayes’ and Mayles are good midwifery textbooks and anything Ina May Gaskin is a good Midwifery read
In what uni you’re going to? xx
I go to Kingston University in partnership with St George’s University of London x
Soooo many pens, it's the only way to survive
Lol, that's so true! Can you believe that was only about a tenth of them 😆
