I’m seriously thinking/considering buying. ‘24 VStrom, and it’s been a while since really considered buying a chain driven motorcycle, I have owned 8 motorcycles, and have owned 4 chain driven ones, the last was my ‘01 Yamaha FZ1, great bike, so it’s been a long time. Would you recommend a V Strom 650 to an old guy? Thank you
thank u for the tips👍🏼
My pleasure 😊
Good solid USEFUL video!👍
Many thanks man! 🙏 Happy you liked it 💪
Excelent video! The only concern for me is putting the right amount of torque I always tend to put too much. Any advise?
Thank you man! Do you mean the torque on the tool?
@@MototalkUSA Yes, I was referring to putting a force of 72 ft/lbs as you tighten up the axle nut.
@@guillermochavez2170 yup, that's what it calls for, I have the same feeling but that's what I go for.
@@MototalkUSA Thank you man!
@@guillermochavez2170 my pleasure, anytime!

Yes, I'd definitely recommend the vstrom 650, it's not a power house but definitely a good bike!
👍👍👍
🙌👍
To my eye that chain looks a bit tight.
Do you turn both adjustment screws clockwise?
Yup, correct
Thank you !!!
@briancannamore8494 you're very welcome my friend!
setting the chain
Cool man! 🤙🤙
Hello my friend, do you know how can i replace the bolt that tightens the chain because its rouined? Thanks
Hello there, remove the rear wheel axle and the block where the adjustable screws push on and then remove those rounded bolts. Καλή τύχη φίλε μου 😉
How often do you have to do this?
@@shaggymason8415 about once or twice a year but it depends of course how much it's being used, how it's being used, if it's lubricated well etc.
@@MototalkUSA Okay how many miles or kilometers? (I do a good amount of ridding)
@@shaggymason8415 about 7000 miles a year
@@MototalkUSA Thanks mang
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you bro! 👍
It looks like it is too tight.
100Nm damaging the axle and nut!
That's what the owners manual shows, same thing on my Hayabusa.
