Like you said this movie knows what it is and I believe it excels at that. the excitement I had when all the pieces started falling into place for the ending😍 it was the biggest love letter to a side of filming rarely seen.
I watched it tonight not knowing anything about the movie, went in completely blind and OMG I was entertained beginning to end. Might have been my 1st Gosling movie ever, plus the awesome acting from Emily Blunt, Winston freaking M’Baku Duke!! Man such a fun movie

Loved it. I think people are making a serious mistake by not seeing it in a theatre. I hope to see it at least once more in a theatre.

My issue is the trailer made it look like it was a generic action romance love story we’ve all seen before.
Agreed. I’ll add that to me the supporting characters were the real stars of the movie 😊.

Probably the death of this movie is lack of marketing: I've been to the cinema at least 3 times and didn't even consider even watching it.
