Russia - forward! I'm proud of you Grisha! You've reached the level and entered the garden of Grandes Maestros! You are a great guitar player no matter what they say! I wish to meet you some day and enjoy your playing! Welcome back to Russia!
Simply unbelievable. I am spell bound how each note is crystal clear at such amazing speed. What a beautiful music too! It takes one to beyond reality. Extraordinary rendering!
Maybe those 25 down thumbs came from aficionados who love flamenco puro (pueblo flamenco, the pure old style) and know that Grisha could never play that. Nor wants to. Search for Melchor de Marchena, Diego del Gastor, Dieguito de Morón, Manolo de Huelva, Perico del Lunar, et. al.
@@rarivas Just checked Melchor de Marchena. Not to bad. But this guy's pretty hot too. For a Russian. Notice how Russians are the best at percussive guitar too?
@@rarivas why would he play those when he can already play music by the best, paco. I've never seen anyone play as close to paco as Grisha. Just because he's not Spanish doesnt mean you have to get jealous, "maestro"
@yukanya777 The hole is just another sound hole, so that the player hears the instrument better. otherwise, as you know, most of the sound is projected out of the front sound hole.
many people prefer to live in ignorance because of the simplicity. When you listen to real music it opens your mind and forces you to consider the world as it really is, for many people this feels uncomfortable and so they go back to music with no meaning, just a rhythm (sometimes not even that) repeated over and over again like the thoughts in their mind.
It's called a "sound port". It's used in some of high end guitars, it directs the sound waves towards the player. It basically allows you to hear your playing better & can affect tonality. I have an old Lucida Artista 755 model that has a crack in the back, to me that's a "sound port" also... that developed naturally! The playing energy, dry air & lack of proper humidity created it!
A fantastic tune by Sabicas executed brilliantly by Grisha. If you have an i phone and are looking for tab for this piece, I recommend getting the Tab Pro app. It has this as well as countless other great flamenco and guitar tunes. At only £2.50 I highly recommend it to any kind of guitarist. Good luck!!
@jsanchezpcr708 Some flamenco guitarists use that kind of pattern, but watch the video more closely. Grisha is using his pinky. Also check Noad's "Playing the Guitar" p. 168. Using all four fingers is the orthodox technique in the genre.
Every time I think I'm pretty awesome at classical guitar I just watch this or a Sabicas/Paco video and just instantly feel that my technique is pathetic
I know right? I'v been playing classical guitar for 4 years, and have been able to play malgeuna and other spanish challenges. But Grisha just pull much harder with so little efforts, UGH!
@@eldergamer8896 4 years is nothing I realized recently. I´ve been playing 5 years and I see that even though you are able to play a lot, some things require 20 more years. :) A nice way to go.
Don’t despair. I’ve been playing classical guitar for over 30 years and I struggle with a lot of the flamenco techniques. I think you need a few lifetimes. Grisha has probably been a great guitarist in a previous life or two.
...come on guys...Grisha's father is a classical guitar master: talent or not, having a private master at home since your childhood maybe helps....... 'a little bit'!
@davidleealford there is another tradition above the one u mention: its the tradition that one has to politely pay credit at first place 4 his music. yes, he is making music nothing more and nothing less. there is no need to dissect this performance into what it is and what its not, just enjoy and calm down. cheers.
@jsanchezpcr708 Sal Bonavita is no slouch when it comes to flamenco, and he uses and teaches the three-finger technique. He has some great tremolo exercises uploaded here. His TH-cam handle is hersoveela, and the name of the vid is "Tremolo Exercises - 3, 4, & 5 fingers."
Grisha is one of the best examples of virtuoso. But there is no debate on how good he is as a flamenco guitarist. He is not a flamenco guitarist, for it is different to play somebody's bulería from to play por bulerías, por soleá... It is this ability which primarily defines a flamenco guitarist. As Master Sabicas said: a flamenco guitarist is three careers in one: solo (your compositions), play for dancers and for singers. Old cultures sometimes surprise us. We cannot change them from outside.
Hi;Congratulation for your performance! I am downloaded already couple of your videos with the learning technics.I want to start learn ;Can you help me with recommendation for a good quality guitar at affordable price please because is the most important step ?Thank you!
Este chico toca muy bien esta farruca. Pero Paco de Lucía siempre quedará el maestro del flamenco. El Paco tenía una técnica y una velocidad fuera de este mundo.....
@Sohail288 you know, it was easy because i was on the classical guitar course in Poznań in Poland and he was one of the tutors ^^ fortunately i have one lesson with him but i didnt like it xd
Grisha is my favorite guitarrist since Paco died :')
Grisha is the best. Love his technique and interpretation -- on this piece and on every selection I've heard him play to date. Bravo!

Incrível esse violonista. Como dominou as técnicas da música flamenca!!!!! Fantástico!!!!
Shallom.Que barbaro! Si yo tocar así, ya podría morirme en paz. Gracias Grisha por este talento que nos brindas. Gracias
Those tremolos and rasgueados are all four-finger. Flamenco indeed. Harf. He's going to perform at the GFA festival in Austin in June. I'm psyched.

Fantastyczne wykonanie

if you look hard at his 6th bass string when he strikes it you can actually see it vibrate and move
