Ofc it's good to claim airdrop, for example, I was eligible on #1 airdrop which is the jupiter 10% allocation, but unfortunately I only got 400 $JUP (200 each wallet) because I rarely use jupiter before november 2023, current price of the $JUP right now as we speak is 0.5$, so I can swap it to $USDT and get $200ish. I'm just casually using crypto but I got $200 airdrop, imagine if you are a airdrop hunter, you know some project will give airdrop and you make 100 wallet and then try to make each wallet eligible for the airdrop, you can get a lot of $. Disclaimer here, airdrop is little bit like a gamble itself, there are 3 points : 1. Whether your wallet eligible or not 2. If your wallet is eligible, you still don't know if the project really gonna airdropping like they promised 3. If the project actually gives an airdrop, there are 50:50 chance the 'item' that they're airdroped is a 'dragon' or a 'worm' The recently airdropped jupiter is definitely a 'dragon' because the price when it can be claim and trade is at $0.7 per token and rnow it's currently sitting at $0.5 per token

What is the sense of airdrops when you need to have some budget, particularly in a form of crypto assets (available tokens in wallet), in order to participate in airdrops? 99.9% of people who would like to participate do not have any money to get this required budget. Their (our !!!) financial problem can apply for just about any reason, e.g. unemployment, no income, etc. If they (we) had the money then they (we) would just buy crypto instead of participating in airdrops. What's the sense of airdrops then if you need to have the budget to participate? The main point is to get free tokens in large valuations of whatever type of crypto and not having to pay/swap where initial budget is required.
Everything in crypto is aimed at people with money. What people forget is they need new people to come into crypto or NFTs and crypto prices will decrease .
