Im sure you thought of it, but to run a bigger battery and get the body to clip in the back, I raised my body mounts so that im using the bottom hole for the mount at the top hole position which leave only the bottom hole screwed into the top body mount hole. So one screw hold s it in. It lifted the rear of the body to give room for a bigger battery. I mean you build is sooo much better than mine as i started from a roller. And yes Arrma has to much red on all their rcs so I try to black out as well. I'd really like to get one of your setups. If not i need to set it up the same and try. Im at 90 with 6s in mine. But thats a 38 tooth spool and 28 tooth pinion. If you could give me a better spool and spur # gear wise to hit 100 i would appreciate it. ❤️🤙
Absolutely amazing run dude Cheers Can you pls share the spur gear size & pinion gear pls as i have the same Castle Mamba X 1515, 2200kv combo pack installed on my Kyosho MP9E TKI in India
First I want to say I like your content. Buuut that wing I have to tell you Is for traction in the corners so definitely helping the cars top speed. However the rear end is more stable with the "Spoiler" but if you remove it you will gain more speed.
Exactly correct! I prefer to run spoilers for speed, not exactly aggressive ones though to lose much speed at all. I do it to ensure the rear end stays in contact with the ground in wanting to be able to safely put more power down to the ground. At a certain speed it will need to be readjusted
@@InnovationRC I thought it could of been , I think the colour thrown me a bit as I've never seen one in that colour. I didn't want to say it was the stinger as Americans have a lot of different cars to Europe. What is the price i understand you said send a email or instagram for a quote but if its a 6s build midnight typhon we want im sure the price should be same for this person or that person wouldnt want to even hit yoh up if i dont want it.. so long story short is. It would make alot of sense to show the price

Why use a Typhon? Kinda like using an Infraction for a ramp basher build, lol. I get being different but this has been done many times. Both are beautiful builds, just seems like the less efficient tool for the job.
Because everyone has a limitless/ infraction going fast. How many have a genuine Typhon that's open wheel doing fast speeds? I'm sure a few but not as many limitless. Getting a Typhon to go fast is more impressive and wholesome because the setup isn't given to you as it is the limitless. But thanks I certainly appreciate it!
If I want more speed I just gear up more. This is a setup to reliably do 120 mph. It's topped out at 123 mph until more gear is added. I prefer 1p packs instead of 2p anyway. Why would I buy a whole new battery for more speed when I can just gear up more? It can go over 130 with a slight gear change.
@@InnovationRC KV = rpm per volt. thus, the higher your voltage - the faster you go - duh. With 2 packs in parallel that are half the size of the single battery you'll have higher voltage in any scenario. Gear up and run 2p - that's the point - the higher the amp draw, the more the voltage sag. Large single packs sag badly. Run 2p and you'll see.
Car is topped out with this gearing. If you think I want to squeeze another 1-2 mph by changing the battery at 120 Mph, your nuts. 120 is just a warm up I don't need to worry about running a parallel pack. When the car starts drawing 600+ amps then I might have to worry, but that means this buggy will be going 170+ mph at that amperage. Need not worry ever. This battery is more than enough for (only) 120. I'm not fighting for another 3-5 mph when I know I can get another 20-30 mph using the same pack
Videos like this are really starting to wreak havoc on my bank account I am so addicted to buying an RC car stuff now... 😂😂😂😂😂
Yep , same thing happening here ..
pretty amazing how stable it is at speed, definitely shows how good the build is....
Thanks I appreciate that! It's certainly built for these speeds
Jeez oh Pete those are two beautiful built cars.
Dude!!! That got my heart racing… to the hobby store. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, I worked my butt off for it!
fantastic run bro. Just got my Innovation RC Batteries yesterday. Cant wait to test the rigs on them. Keep up the great content brotha. Cheers.

That fkn scary lol 😂 bad ass but scary.. don’t stop brother 🤘🏻

What pinon and spur you running
You need to explore the option of FPV battery packs. Less weight. You could probably run two in parallel to keep the C up.

We need to start a go fund me so you can get yourself a frickin airstrip for these beasts lol
Lol that'd be nice. There are a couple super long roads like 3 hours away from me but that's really a trip and a half
Hi love the show, have you use FPV to drive the cars with! cheers
Yes I have! I did it on my remotes screen

will this car hit 40 with a titan 12t on 3s
On 3s this should hit around 55, knowing this did 75 on 4s
My fastest is 84 been trying 100 for years
It is difficult to break 100 in a normal Typhon, these are setup to blast past 130-140
How much?
These people who don't understand that they stand to loose their life by getting too close to me or my RC baffle me.
I should probably look into health insurance, thanks for reminding me
tire sauce is highly recommended
Absolutely not for speedruns
You DO realize that a 2P battery setup will provide vastly better voltage under load leading to more... speed, right?
