I had a nurse who could not get blood even though a liquid diet before the procedure. Then she tried veins in one hand. When she started to go for the other hand I asked for another nurse.
Blood work should be fairly quick and easy. Bites when you have multiple pokes and maybe even a few black and blues and then they ask for positive comments. 😊

I have to get 8 hour IVs every month and a big tip is to drink a LOT of water the day before so your veins are bigger, also wear a sweatshirt or something warm that also makes your veins bigger and easier to find 💗
