***** Well, seeing as though not even all the channels were used on the sound chip... Not the most advanced music. Some of the happiest/best, sure. But calling it advanced is disregarding a lot of the sunsoft games' music
Top-notch late entry into the NES library. One of the smoothest, best looking, best playing, best sounding games on the legendary grey box! 1993 was fairly good for the NES.
God, I can listen to this music for the first time in nearly 2 decades, and I STILL have all the same thoughts that I did as a child when I'd play this game. I wish I could be a kid again.
Wow. That is so crazy that you just posed this comment. I was just listening to this music again for the first time since posting that comment. The universe is friggin weird like that, I'll tell ya lol.
It's pretty amazing that, despite using the same hardware as earlier NES games (that is, all the same limitations and capabilities), this game was able to bring the sonic pallet so much further. Even compared to the great music in early NES games such as The Legend of Zelda, there's so much more complexity and nuance. I think it's because the makers of video games began to spend more money/time on music.
love how people are saying how advanced this sounds for a nes title and yet no one seems to realise this is a channel dedicated to remastering these old tracks, compare this to any other uploads of kirby's adventure out there, you'll notice a difference, either way, this does so much justice to the original tracks, I love it so much, the compositions have always been really strong and anyone can see why they return in later games, its so good
yea! do you know if there are any download links for grad1u5's remasters? they're so good, and i haven't been able to find any other mixes that compare (either they're not accurate or they're just straight up unmodified)
The difference is that it sounds cleaner because they probably used an nsf player and added some reverb onto it lol They didn't remaster anything Its the same soundtrack

Nightmare in Dreamland was my first and only Kirby game. Realizing that it’s a remake of this game and hearing all of the songs I know but in NES style is pretty trippy.
I played the gameboy remake (Nightmare in Dreamland) and loved it. I honestly didn't know it was a remake for the longest time. Hearing this is so surreal. It tricks me into thinking they are 8bit remixes rather than the original games soundtrack. Anyway, great songs!
I love your channel but you should highlight composers names! They all deserve credits for crafting these beautiful melodies that were present in our childhood or we are yet to discover.
@@LaskyLabs This is likely to be exactly that. Sounds like it was made on an arcade platform. Ninja Gaiden is the same way. The NES is not capable of all the stuff I hear here.

There is no other ending boss battle song from an 80s or 90s console that got your adrenaline up like that one. It's basically drum and bass for the NES. A beast of a tune, that one is.

Yea inagree
I think this is one of the most underrated games and soundtracks on NES.
Agree 1000%
Turnipkin I wouldn't consider Kirby underrated at all
Turnipkin What about ‘Gimmick!’ (‘Mr. Gimmick!’ in Europe, unrelesed in America)?
Sunsoft soundtracks are amazing.
uhh Iwata-san was very proud of his work (he coded part of this game), so I wouldn't call that underrated. lol
5:14 Island Paradise is one of my favorites. Underrated, imo.
21:58 "Starry Sky" is probably the one you are looking for
Starry Sky is one of the absolute best pieces of music to come out on any of the NES games.
It's such a beautiful piece of art.
It's amazing how this high quality tracks (And alot of them!) could fit on a single NES cart ALONG with the quite big game
Why is this so cute...!? the whole thing just screams cuteness...!

Is nobody going to mention how good "Battle across sky" is? It's got a large layer of intensity...
It sure does, I wouldnt be surprised if "On The Run by: Pink Floyd" is an inspiration for this song.
There is no other ending boss battle song from an 80s or 90s console that got your adrenaline up like that one. It's basically drum and bass for the NES. A beast of a tune, that one is.
“Nightmare” and “Rainbow Resort” are the highlights of this soundtrack in my opinion.
