John is always very insightful. Please bring him back to talk about how he personally invests and how he envisions that potentially changing in retirement.

Have you looked at using the Shiller CAPE to help determine safe withdrawal rates?

    Great podcast as always…
I been withdrawing around 7% from my investments for the past 3 years. As long as my investment strategies are giving me over 11% yearly I should be okay with the 7% withdrawal amount.
I think most of investors are holding a diversified portfolio at which the returns as what the market is giving.
Also, most financial institutions are not going to take risks with their clients portfolios so they mimic the market 😮..
Tomorrow is not promised I’m not going to get overwhelmed with what would happen in 30 years when we don’t have no clue what would happen in 30 days.
Fear is real and makes investors nervous 😬

Top 25 stocks over a 5% yield us and ex us with some filters for quality.
You can easily squeeze out a 10% yield on that million dollars.
    Get 75k after tax.
Hold a cash balance of 25k to spend and reinvest the rest.
Your income will grow and you'll never have to sell stocks to fund your bills.
