Brilliant Jono I don't have much knowledge on intergas boilers. Serviced 2 changed a faulty fan but never installed any. I know they're expensive when they go wrong. Over £200 for a fan 😳 customer wasn't too happy when I told them what the repair was going to cost. Suppose the good thing is you can leave a customer with hot water if you're working on the central heating side. Great stuff as always pal 🤗
@@warriorsofwarmth Thx. I am aware of that from red to black in colour. But the burner now has a new part number. Are you saying there is no change with the burner, being the same old early failure job?
Hi wonder if you could help me i have a inter gas combi boiler that's making a droning sound when the boiler is not been used i.e. no heating on or hot water drawn it displays a code that reads ( con 7 ) . I've looked on the net and cant find anything would be very grateful for any help or advise thanks
Fitted the hre system a few times and the xclusive combi, seem really good, don’t really like the flue system similar to ideal, anyways great video thanks
Never seen intergas before Monday had fault code 11 indicating S1 sensor changed this boiler worked. Customer called today to say fault back again. There is no scale reducer on cold supply but does have magnaclean. How likely is it to be a block H E or possibly the HW flow switch? Something simple🤷🏼♂️.
I have 2015 three intergas boilers 24/28, when we used hot water, they show a faulty code 11. ( let’s say Boiler A ) I checked code 11 means that the aqua censor isn’t working. To test it, I swapped this faulty aqua censor with the one on a working boiler ( boiler B) . Strange thing is now both boilers stopped working and both showed faulty code of 11. To ascertain the problem, I put an aqua censor I bought from eBay in boiler B, it’s working now. I am wondering what could be the problem. Please help.
Came across an installer who said he came across an Intergas Rapid 32 that has explosive ignition when igniting on CH, but never on DHW. I can only conclude it is a setting(s) in the parameters. Anyone ever come across this?
@@warriorsofwarmth Why only explosive ignition on CH and not DHW? That is the odd part of it. If the mesh has gone it would happen in both modes. The ignition is more of a _bumf_ than explosive.
@@warriorsofwarmth I am not 100% convinced the burner is the problem, as he says it only gives low audible _bumf_ on CH ignition not DHW. No need to have an expensive needless burner change if not needed if the problem can be solved elsewhere - no need to get into the all too common just change parts until the problem is sorted. Parameter *F* is the CH starting speed. You can adjust this to start the burner at a high kW which may immediately modulate down, or start on low kW and immediately modulate up. I suggested he turns parameter *F* up by 10% at a time to see if the _bumf_ on CH ignition is eliminated. DHW starts at a high kW demand as the demand for high kW is there to heat the incoming cold water, while that is not the case on in CH mode most of the time. Also in some districts the gas distribution supply pressure at peak times is less than needed, which can at times give ignition problems. I have seen that before, when many parts were needlessly changed. Or the gas mains pressure may have fluctuated for a while as works are being done to it, which again causes temporary ignition problems. Intergas boilers want 20 Mbar at the gas valve in working pressure, so this has to be correct as well. I know some guys who will adjust the meter regulator to get that 20 Mbar at the gas valve, saying screw the gas transport provider as they have a customer to satisfy, not having all the time in the world to deal with those people which takes eons.

fill up the system to 1,9-2,0 bleed the air out and it should be fine. when the pressure in the system hits the 1.0 the 0.3 blinking will disappear. turn of your heater/boiler with the on off, the boiler should say if its an intergas. ( 0.3 - ) on the display. dont forget to turn in back on. its on when you see an green light on the left side of the display. goodluck!

Great video and very clear. I love these intergas boilers.

Always for asking g buddy
Most manufacturers charge for the back end. I just fitted a worcester bosch fan costing £225.
Fantastic video 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Is the burner failure common on Intergas boilers? I know they have a slightly amended design as the burners now have a new part number.
The burner seal has been up graded

Hot water on control coming no 3-4 fire up then 7 and no hot water ? Any thoughts?
Flow switch? Or scaled up Hex

DiscoBiscuits thanks for the feedback
I do believe they use the same flue supplier.
What about ignition electrode. These tend to give trouble after a while in all boilers? How is it cleaned?
Electrodes can be faulty even when looking like new
1:08 If the burner has gone too badly? What does that mean? Nice vid BTW.
Sorry rushed vid, if the burner stretches or badly worn explosive ignition can happen
Are these boilers any good?
Ok, good flow rate, must get them serviced regularly though

Chances are it’s blocked these have copper hex
@@warriorsofwarmth could it be the aqua sensor?
If the aqua-sensor is not working, put in pre-heat?
The pre heat, heats the hex ready for demand,
@@warriorsofwarmth
What will that do, if the aqua sensor is not working?
John Burns it will constantly heat the hex. How old is ur intergas?
@@warriorsofwarmth
I know it will heat the heat X. I fail to see how doing that rectifies a faulty aqua sensor.
John Burns it’s doesn’t rectify the problem it only provides a temporary fix
Hi, installed a Intergas 30 system boiler but fault code 11?

Hi jay, the boiler is brand new.... strange.
Also it's a heat only boiler so I still need to change the parameters for a system boiler? Or should it be factory set?

Bought it as a Intergas 30sb
