I realized just yesterday or maybe the day before that when an ad reaches zero in the countdown and starts to play another countdown or shows an arrow at the top right, simply tab out of the game and tab back in and you'll still get the reward without having interact with the ad any further.
Wish I'd gotten that monthly pass months ago. I had no idea that rewards to be obtained without the ads. Totally worth it in my opinion if you enjoyed the game as much as I do. Many of their advertisers are pretty scummy, so very happy to not feed those jerks.

For me, it's not worth it. Watching ads while I'm doing things which the ads doesn't take long anyways
