Impressed with your Tongan!! 😍 - Can tell you've either listened or learnt it a lot from the way you're reading. It takes a while to get used to the fakamamafa pau (upward inflections) that we put in for emphasis while speaking but sounds like you've gotten the hang of it! Keke looks good too!! Tōtōatu!
I spoke with my boyfriend. He mentions that he's making keke 'isite🤤 but I still don't know how to make it. And I'm here for it😄 Thanks for sharing it!😊

Hey Veni! Loving the content. My partner and I are obsessed with your channel 😊 Btw what is the song that plays at the beginning of most of your vids during the intro? Blessings from Sydney!
This is an original Samoan dish called "Panikeke". You can change the name if you want but its still the same. This is cultural dilution, we must conserve our Samoan culture and stop others from slowly but surely trying to claim our traditions.
I totally acknowledge the fact that Samoan Panikeke must of being the original. But majority of our Polynesian food especially Samoan, Tongan, Cook island and Niuean food are similar in a way. it is sucks other claim other tradition to be theirs, but we are all connected somehow. We probably we just need to educate ourself more of food and understand where it comes from so we can all embrace it together :)
@@N33261 as long as people know what the origins of each dish or traditions came from, theres no problem. But like you said people must be educated then thats fine. But you dont see Samoans making okai or any other dish and not giving credit to the original just saying.
