How to Adjust / Resize Casio Bracelet / Watch Band (A158W, A168W etc.)

- A short instructional video on how to adjust the size of your Casio bracelet. Casio does not provide any instructions for this so figured I'd make a quick video. These digital Casio watches can often be the first watch someone gets and the mechanism can be confusing if you've never seen anything like it. You won't need any special tools, a fork will suffice. Hope you find this useful and get a good fit!

Looks easy! Now I know how to adjust the strap on a Casio if I ever get one 😄
Yeah it’s really fast and easy! I recommend you get one😁
Shouldn’t take you too long to save up for one. They’re like $20US
Works on Non-Casio too! Just tried it on my Shein purchase!
Still not closing. Huhu
this is the gold standard for what a video like this should be 👍
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the compliment!👍🏻
I’ve been struggling with my watch strap all day, this video was such a huge help!! Thanks dude
Glad to hear that mate :)
Just bought my first stainless steel Casio (A168WG) and this video saved me. Thank you!
Just got mine in today, had to also find out how to get it correctly on my wrist. 😂
Awesome buy! And also very happy to hear that it was useful! Cheers :)
What a legend, simple and straight to the point while still replying to comments years later! Thank you
Thanks for the kind words mate! I really appreciate it :)
Short and straight to the point, excellent video! I just bought an A158W and couldn't figure out how to adjust the band, but this video came right up on a quick google
Really glad to hear that feedback, thanks mate :)
Simple and to the point. Thank you! Very helpful
Glad to hear that. My pleasure mate!
Perfect! Quick, easy and simple directions, no ridiculous build-up or stringing the whole thing out. Nicely done.
Thanks, really appreciate that mate :)
Thank you! Every time I buy a watch like this I forgot which way to open it! Short and to the point! Much love, merry Christmas!
My pleasure! Glad to hear it was helpful! All the best, and happy new year!
Simple and straightforward - thank you for this tutorial! I had been wondering how to adjust the clasp position on my Casio metal strap, and this video was exactly what I needed.
Awesome! I tried to make it concise :) Glas you found it useful!
Short! To the point and helpful! Exactly what I needed. Thanks
Glad it helped! Thanks for the feedback too :)
Why does it looks so effortless for you to re-close the clasp? Is it from practice or because it’s an older watch? Mine is brand new and it feels like I have to apply 50 pounds of force with a screwdriver just to close it again after readjusting.
I think I know the reason. Try moving it very slightly in either direction. If the clasp is directly on top of a joint between links it can really put up a fight. So just move it ever so slightly and it should be pretty easy.. let me know if that helps!
@@NordicWatchChannel Thanks so much for the quick reply!!! :)
@@NordicWatchChannel Well I suppose I must’ve been trying it right on top of one of the joints without realizing it!! Worked much easier this time. Thanks for the help!
@@romanovergerio2688 no problem buddy!
@@romanovergerio2688 glad to hear it! No problem!
This is the exact reason why I always preferred leather or elastic bands for my watches. Thanks for the help!
Haha, yes they are quite straight forward. But so are bracelets, once they are configured😎 My pleasure!
Thanks for keeping the video to the point unlike 99% other clickbaiters
Thank you! Love to hear feedback like this :)
You are a life saver🙏🏻 The video is made very well and isn't too long!
Thanks for the kind feedback! Glad it was useful :)
Thanks so much for the video, Watched it 3 days ago, and its such an easy adjustment, and a simple video, and short, just wanted to thank you! Glad to have received the 158 as a gift for my birthday to add, even engraved. I have the F105, for years now but this is just as great man. Tysm! #April19 😁🎉
Glad to hear that mate! You’re very welcome :)
Thank you very much for rhis video! You really helped me! It was very informative and straightforward! 🔥
Glad to hear that mate :) My pleasure! :)
Just readjusted the strap on my 168. Thanks for the help, man!
My pleasure mate!
SUPER EASY!!!!!!! Worked on my non-Casio watch too. The hole was too small for a fork so I used a knife and it worked like a charm!
That’s great :) glad to hear that!
Great to-the-point video, thanks! I was worried it would be like my last stainless steel watch where you had to add and remove links individually, but this is a LOT easier.
Thanks! Yeah this bracelet is super easy :)
Thanks bro just got new a158w,very helpful video!
My pleasure mate! :) Thanks!

Thanks, such a fun little watch
My pleasure! It sure is👍🏻
Thank you for this!
My pleasure! :)
Just broke the clasp on my brand new watch doing this. Thanks!😎
Bummed to hear that.. how did it break? Sometimes the lock doesn’t want to latch because it is between two links. Excessive force at that point might break it😕
Thank you it’s very helpful
Glad to hear that! My pleasure :)
Thank you! This was so easy but I wouldn't have figured it out on my own.
I'm sure you would have :) But you're welcome!
I had been wearing it loose for ages...never thought it could be adjusted!
Glad to hear this helped :)
Bought a 168WA-1, first ever watch and felt pretty clueless on how to adjust the strap, first video to pop up was this - very helpful and quick, thanks mate :)
Glad it helped! Congrats on the first watch and on the solid choice mate :) My pleasure!
Thanks much 💓 it helped. To the point video
Glad to hear that and you're very welcome! Thanks for the feedback :)
Right, top tip for anyone that has a tough clasp. I almost ripped my fingers trying to close mine.
If you slide the clasp up and down you'll feel where the notches drop into the strap but even then it can be tough on certain sections.
For me what finally did it was to take the same tool I used to open it and just use that to lever it back using the same hole. Was very easy doing it that way and saved my fingers
Thanks for sharing this tip! Bugs me that I forgot to mention about feeling for those notches. Many people seem to stumble on that issue!
Thank you so much, I can't feel my fingertips after trying brute force for 10 minutes... I use your method and 'click'.
You're the man, thank you so much
Thanks a lot! Glad to hear it was useful :)
Thank you, this video helped !👍🏼

My pleasure! Glad to hear that :)
Thank you so much, you're a hero
Hahah hardly. But thanks for the comment! My pleasure :)
Thank you soo much ❤❤❤..
I think 💬 its hard task but its too easy... But disclose the clip is soo hard. I have applied too much force on it.
The clip won't close if you try to do it between 2 bracelet links. Just move it 1-2mm more in one direction and try again. You probably did already in 2 weeks time :)
Just got a A700... helped alot:)👍
Awesome, glad to hear that :)
Life-saver. Thank you!!
Glad to hear that! You’re very welcome :)

Great!!
! :)
Deserve a like
Appreciate that, thank you 😎
for anyone struggling to close it make sure it’s at the same spot where it should be arrow is there and everything and press down really hard i thought it was gonna break but nah its fine also adjusting tip if u cant get it exact try getting it to the best fit possible and then attach it try it on still loose or tight just slightly adjust it without your wrist and use the links as measurements 2cm Up Not enough ok 3 more too much ok 3 cm down and try it till it fits
Should go down without exessive force though.. You can feel when it gives too much resistance. Some resistance is fine, but don't force it!
Namaste 🙏
Thanks a ton ♥️
My pleasure :)
Just got the exact same watch, thank you a lot.
Great buy, congrats!
What watch is in the video exactly?
