Army Captain writes the sweetest vows!!! - Wedding Film - Old Glory Distillery - Clarksville, TN

So about 8 years ago, I was just starting my first real world job as a high school biology teacher at Clarksville High School. I loved it. I loved being around the students and getting to meet so many interesting young people. One of those amazing students was Jeannie. We had such a fun time despite me trying to bore her every day with biology. :)
Of course at that time, I never would have guessed that years down the road I would have the honor to film her wedding day. When she reached out to me to do her wedding, I honestly just felt so blessed. Not just because she was trusting me to capture her and Adam's day, but because I had a moment where I realized how lucky I have been to encounter some of the most amazing people in my career paths. As a teacher and as a filmmaker, I have been able to cultivate meaningful relationships and that just makes my heart so full.
So I already knew a good bit about how great Jeannie was as a person but of course had not met Adam yet. It took about 10 seconds on our Facetime chat for me to figure out why Jeannie picked him. This guy has a smile that will light up a room, an extremely gentle spirit, and a love for Jeannie that is palpable. Anyone who knows him or the two of them together probably already knows that. But it was such a great feeling for me to see that. It genuinely made me so happy for Jeannie and for their future together.
What is not shown in this wedding video is all the times off camera that Jeannie tells me how Adam tells her he loves her, "...like a thousand times a day." Or how he brings her breakfast in bed with a handwritten card all the time.
Those sort of comments just made me and Noreen Nooner Photography just absolutely melt all day. It was seriously just such an amazing thing to watch them together and to listen to the words they wrote each other.
So to Jeannie and Adam... thank you both. Thank you for your friendships. Thank you for the love you two have for each other. Adam, thank you for your service and dedication to keeping this country and the ones we love safe and free. Thank you for just loving Jeannie so much like you do. It is truly inspirational to me for my own marriage.
Jeannie, thank you again for your friendship and for letting me be part of this day. It was so special to see how you've grown up and turned into a beautiful bride and loving wife. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the both of you. :)
