It seems like you're getting the full spectrum of the Empire in 40K with that scene were you have one guy shouting an Ultra-Nationalist rally speech while you have Commissars executing people on the other side of the room.
Seeing the Chimera tank shocking tyranids gave me fond memories of doing it in the tabletop. My Chimera once ran over Ghazghull and a dreadnight in a single tank shock (it was a free for all with several players, the orks and grey knights were in melee with each other, so I just drove through the middle. Both somehow failed their death or glory attack)
There is actually several mentions of Dreadnaughts in the HH that offered to get themselve unplugged to let other more important marines continue to exist, mostly about captains and Chapmasters.
This whole series is just two space marine tourists gawking at all the local things and scenes while discussing irrelevant things, and it makes the game hilarious.
I wish they'd realised that that's not the I of the Inquisition, that just has three extra horizontal bars and sometimes a skull, the I with an Eye is the symbol of the Adeptus Astropathicus! I think they were assuming that the tortured whispering was coming from a Guardsman!
i think dreadnoughts are not that hard to get, they can probably requisition them like any other vehicle and likely have an empty spare or two in the armory. would guess that by the fact that some legions are much more into/have a lot more dreadnoughts than others. so the limiting factor would be how many space marines they have that are not only worthy, but also hitting just the right amount of dead enough to need life support instead of just getting most of their body replaced and healing back up.
Warhammer was very much inspired by/making fun of Dune. God Emperor = Paul and Leto 2 Space Marines = Sardaukar Technophobic, mutant Navigator guilds, religious conflict across a galaxy etc.
Plus Starship Troopers was a book first, and that book long predates Warhammer--pretty sure the book version of Starship Troopers was one of the first instances of powered armor being a thing in sci-fi too.
It really doesn't matter at all, but as someone who has been hitting Operations pretty hard, the way they run right past the destructible crates does make my eye twitch slightly.
does anyone else feel like the names melta and multi-melta sound very orkish rather than human? cus i mean surely its melter and even that is way to discriptive of its function to be of human origin? XD

Hammerfall Bunkers are dropped from orbit to provide a beachhead, secure a landing zone, area defence, or to simply wreak havoc behind enemy lines. (Codex Space Marines) Clearly someone can designate a location for them to get dropped...
8:25 Need to respect the chimera operator for turning the turret gun backwards first, before bulldozing the giant door.
Man, the scenes where they really let the Guard shine make me desperately want a good Guard FPS. With either Drukhari or Tau as the baddies.
I love how Ben is just constantly throwing out Dawn of War quotes.
The only proper way to play any warhammer 40k video game.
But it is a good pain!
ahh the old 3 carnifex distraction, for when you REALLY need them distracted

Why do you think he's giving that speech? It's not because he loves the Imperium that much...
so by full spectrum you mean two complementary parts of the same aspect of it
Can't believe Ben mistook the Adeptus Astra Telepathica symbol for that of the Inquisition! I thought he was a true warhammer nerd ;P
Inquisition: Big 'I'
Astra Telepathica: Big 'I' with an eye.

I do enjoy Tom being eternaly tortured by space marine lore

"You've activated my reverse-heresy card brother!"
Battle Brothers! Angorius Thomascus and Bedgarius Benthazar just dropped a new video! Praise be to the Emperor!
This whole series is just two space marine tourists gawking at all the local things and scenes while discussing irrelevant things, and it makes the game hilarious.
"Starship Troopers is really a Warhammer film"
*Cries in Mobile Infantry*
I wish Tom looked up from the floor to see the choir lol

Dune was published in the mid-60s. If anything, Warhammer has Dune vibes.

My days have been really shit, but watching tom and ben content really makes me laugh and smile, thanks guys!
Tom & Ben liking the _olden days_ of Warhammer stuff?!!? _SHOCKING!_ (These takes are a key part what make them great).
8:06 what a cut. it looked like you teleported XD
My favourite Warhammer film has got to be Hotdog and Fishpot: Grandpappy Nurgle's Reckoning. That is all.
Canada Stands
Oh no Tom forgot the Boltgun with a shorter barrel
5:51 If they really wanted to get involved in the fighting and dying they could easily fit through the gaps in that gate...
28:02 that is the symbol for the Adeptus Astra Telepathica; you're at the Astropathic Relay now.
accusing me of heracy is heracy XD
the uno reverse card of 40k XD
They miss so much by waffling over the voice lines and then wonder what’s happening 😂 love them bois
Love me some Tomstigator and Benliminator
Honestly, death by firing squad is better than being torn apart by xenos, driven mad by chaos, or Emperor forbid being captured by dark eldar
In the xbox release of shadows of doubt one of the top reviews on the gamestore mentioned tom by name
Well I'm just loving the dominatrix chat. Best bug.

Maybe keep the bolter naming convention. Heavy melta or storm melta.
Keep them coming, Brothers!
My favorite series right now!
17:20 it's lame, but if i ever did gargoyle minis, i'd probably have them all on rocks, ruins, and plants just to make them more sturdy.
BAM! BROTHERS! THE BUGS, BROTHERS! THEY MUST BE SQUARSHED!
he is going to beat the game without ever using he ultimate skill or parry isnt he.
SPPAAAYYYCCCEE MAAARREEEEEENNN 😅
the concept of the space marine was invented by the star ship troopers book.
Love this game and love you guys. For the Emperor!
Honour and Courage Brothers!
As fun as hearing their 40k banter is. I wish they would pay attention to the story more.
I always thought the armor was lacking in Starship Troopers. Clearly, they should have been Warhammer Space Marines.
does anyone know what the music with the choir/chanting that tom plays at the end of videos is called?
Wasn’t there an animated 40k movie?
Love the commentry more mystry quest CoC!
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1768

Tom, I'm liking Warhammer. But it's October, and I have been conditioned to expect some spooky games with guests. Please master Tom, please!
More! MORE SUGAR IN WATER!
No dredge video ? 😢
Brothers
You're my favorite warhammer movie
Ben - "Dune has warhammer energy" well yes, I mean..he has to know Warhammer 40k is just a Dune Parody :P
th-cam.com/video/dHAP3E5e2jc/w-d-xo.html&start_radio=1 blood for the blood god.......
Ummm 40K is a Starship Troopers vibe. Starship Troopers came first.
The book, yes. The film, no.
cool
Warhammer is a dune movie change my mind 😂
can you make the "brother tom/ben" like 3x bigger!
I know it's there but it blends in so well and it may be worth making it a little more obvious
A DEAD warhammer film! Is that the answer Ben? Ben?
Space Marine 2 doesn't follow the lore at all. No one summons a Hammerfall bunker.
Hammerfall Bunkers are dropped from orbit to provide a beachhead, secure a landing zone, area defence, or to simply wreak havoc behind enemy lines. (Codex Space Marines)
Clearly someone can designate a location for them to get dropped...
@@Fishes29 Sounds fake, I've played a lot of games of 40k and not once has a space marine opponent brought one in.
@@Fishes29Clearly Hammerfall bunkers are a migratory species that just appear on battlefields in order to impress potential mates.
