AMT 1995 Dodge Viper RT10 build

I started this kit back in 1996 and kept losing motivation to finish it. I lost some parts along the way but acquired another bagged kit along the way to get the missing parts. I didn't like the smoked lenses in the front, so I got some from an AMT Viper GTS kit that were clear. It is my oldest stalled project, and now it is finished!

The Viper came out great! As far as the hood goes the Corvette had a simular large hood. I had a 77 Tbird that had a pretty long hood. The front bumper would arrive at my destination 2 minutes before me. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

The C4 Corvette hood is huge and heavy. I have dealt with a few of them in the parts dept back in the 90s. They were often damaged.

This came out fantastic!!! I remember trying to build this kit when new and my skills were not great as I would have been about 10-12 years old. I did mine black with gray seats, it met the M-80 fate as many teenage boys do with these kits. I wonder if the Monogram version is any better to build?

The revell version lacks some details in certain areas. But a lot easier to build than this one.
