Can sing doesn't mean she should be an idol. Many idols can't sing. She is way more better then some idols who just can sing in a studio but not live without any lip sync.
Maybe she doesn't want to be. The fact that she can sing doesn't necessarily mean that she can be a celebrity cause that needs something more than just a good voice. You have to be able to write your own song and make catchy melodies and also perform on stage etc.
