Sorry to differ -- i hit a deer at 386 yards with this Swarovski Ballistic Turret and am very impressed. Have it on 3 hunting rifles and am very pleased with it. Have no idea why you had such a mishap but you appear to be an exception--not the rule. And Swarovski customer support is excellent.
I have one on a combo gun in 12/223 and shoot three inch shells out of it and it hasn't lost its zero nor have i ever had an issue with the crosshair. I have the cheapest of the scopes. Mine is a Z3 4-12-50 and i am hard on it and it has always worked. I have another one on a thumper of a 300 and same story . They just plain work and the glass is exceptional.
As far as I know you need to correct for spin drift at 600 yards hence with 2 shots right in the centre you would have aimed left of the target without adjusting horizontal turret.. a few might be surprised they won't hit the target dead centre as u describe.
and forgot to tell that the scope it self cost over 3000 bucks. But i know that the quality of that scope is worth it. I had a chance to look trough the swarovski scope and it was like looking trough the cristal its amazing
Swarovski is expensive, but your could be using a Z3 or Z5 out to 600 yards with these results, each available with this custom turret, could be at 1500 or below for this setup. Expensive for sure, and worth it like you said.
I have a 28 Nosler and a Z6I 3x18 great setup but is their a way to turn the elevation more then 1 full turn ? I would like to shoot out past 1000 yards.
Hi, Using the Nosler brand 28 Nosler 175 gr ABLR with a 300 yard Zero, in a standard Ballistic Atmosphere (at sea level), You should be able to get to 970 yards at the max 53rd click of the BT on the Z6(i) 3-18x50. If your altitude happened to be at 4000 feet with the same data, you would be able to get to 1000 yards with 52 clicks. If you have further questions you can contact our Service Team at 800-426-3089 or info@swarovskioptik.us.
Using Swarovski Z6i 1-6 and Z5 3.5-18...Perfect glass BUT those clicks are no good -not edgy enouch,if you understand what i mean and repeatability is not always in place. No competition for Swarovski in close and mid range especially when shooting using the reticle, for long range bought Nightforce
for long range or any sort of military/tacticle deployment swarovski is just not resilient enough! i sell them as high quality hunting equipement, but the mechansic is not repeatable and not meant at all for high precision long range shooting
They suck had 2 of them and both broke cross hairs just floated around everywhere. Never will I spend the money on that crap again. Leupold only way to go
You have to be kidding. I have 3 Swarovskis and 3 Leupold scopes. No comparison with reliability between the two manufacturers. Leupold is quite good but the Swarovski is the hands down winner. Send me the two Swarovskis you broke and I'll have Swarovski repair them.

You must have bought the Chinese version off of Ebay. Swarovski's reticles are etched. NO hairs to break and float around.
@@robertruedrich245 True...he just showed how lame he is. Always buy from an authorized Swarovski, Leupold, Zeiss, etc. dealer.
