My mom would make us homemade playdoh, it is basically just boiled flour water and salt, lots of salt (that I do not know from tasting experience). Playing with the warm dough was the best, but it would harden after a day, great for keeping sculptures, but not for playdoh’s famous reuse.

Ah yes, those good old days that started us all eating play dough because we liked the salt 😅 I got so excited everytime my mum brought out a fresh batch of warm 😊😊😊
Technically I still play with dough most days, and I think it should be a requirement for all people's health to play with flour and water!
😃 dough for so many things !! Just yesterday I made Japanese style dumplings, so much fun ! Roll the dough in the machine, cut out the shapes, spoon the mix in, fold and use fork to make pretty patterns around the edges..

But I am also a ceramicist , mud-slinging appealed to me too, any sort of clay and I want to make something, and FIMO, plasticine , sugar paste for cake decorating !

SIMPLE CREATIONS IN DIFFERENT COLOURS SELL WELL..... Play dough, Lego, Crayons, Paints, pens....same item produced-just in different colours...just like My Little Pony, Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles, Tele Tubbies, Paw Patrol, Trolls, Care Bears and the list goes on. Which includes edibles: Gummy bears, Skittles, M&Ms, Smarties, bubblegum balls ect.

Why do companies care so much about colour consistency?
It's important for brand recognition. If you walked into a mcdonalds for example and ordered fries, and they came out in the same container but the yellow and red was slightly off, it's instantly recognizable. That's because we associate certain fonts and shapes and colors with brands that are consistent in their image...
