Was the best season of nrl across the board looking forward to next
What a season from ponga, earlier in the season there was talks of a medical retirement due to too many hia’s, comes back and has a dally m season while missing a few rounds, knights should be proud of that season

Whole team really meshed well toward the back end of the season, just need to secure few more wins earlier on so their not so run down trying to make finals. Hope to see them up there this year, just dont start the run against my storm boys please hahha
With that ten game winning run they had at the back of the season, for me they didn't really play that high quality of opposition, yes they did get a win over Melbourne at home but they also played Canterbury (twice), Wests Tigers, St. George, Canberra, Redcliffe and an out of sorts Souths team. When they finally came up against a quality team in the finals, they got swept aside.
Well what was more impressive was their close losses to the broncos and penrith just before that. They were competing until the end in those games, and were in front on the scoreboard in the last 10 in both of them.
Shame they didnt learn anything from their narrow escape against the Raiders in week 1 of the finals, were never going to get away with another poor showing against the Warriors at home. Hopefully take their momentum into this year, was great to see them finally click as a team week in, week out. If they took the lessons of finals football into this years season, who knows….
