    Own this for a while.... Inredible Precise measuring even freee handed.
    Nice to have a table of precalculateted ammunition types (8 groups of common calibre) so that the glass shows tbe needed lead correction
    Without remote connection to Smartphone.
    This is unique in the price class.
    Optocally the Kilo 3000 is of good Medium class Quality.
    Well Worth its price.

    When it was flashing 2 degrees in the binos was that calculating your angle to the target?

    How would you compare these binoculars to Steiner m830r in your previous video.. In regards to functionality and glass clarity

      @FinnAccuracycom  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. First of all, both are binoculars but still very different. Compact size-driven military- spec porroprism with very small 32mm objectives vs commercial spec roof-prism with 42mm objectives. Both get the job done without feel of decent optical quality, but neither is optically perfect.

    Which would you choose? Kahles rf or this sig sauer?

    not bad, seems quite loyal at around 3km.. is this unit using 905nm infrared diodes or is it using laser diodes up around 1500nm like some of the long-ranging units.
    // P p < 41.4W, λ = 905 nm, t = 22 ns pulse (905nm diode)

    though not sure there are LD-wattage-adjustment - fx potentiometer on the board-components to do on the fly, as the case with some, but it could still be lurking inside the shielded transmitter laser diode-board, like the norm with Sig Sauer's monocular versions..

    quite a nice unit Kilo3000 binocular rangefinder.

    How are you mounting these to a tripod?

    • @FinnAccuracycom
      @FinnAccuracycom  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this case, with HOG saddle clamp. Not optimal but good enough for getting video done

      I picked up an outdoorsmans bino arca mount. Definitely the best option I’ve found for these so far.

    Can these ballistic solve without use of the kestrel?

      Yes. Sig ballistic phone app is independent.
