In fact my profile picture is the logo of the organisation that Chris started called “I don’t mind” and I am a massive supporter of both of them individually and together and am just trying to show and spread support for Melissa. So please take your negativity and assumptions somewhere else and don’t attack someone for supporting someone they look up to and admire.
This episode was so frustrating because each character has a rational point of view of the situation. I stand all of them, the writers are doing a great job this season, although Im missing Nia Nal, the plot has been really consistent well constructed, I think it's the best season 5 of all the arrowverses shows
I don't know what they're gonna do with this "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover, but it may not be like the other crossovers they've had on DC shows on CW. In the original comics version of this, it changed _everything_ about the DC comics universe to one degree or another. I don't want to spoil anything, but the side-effects were big. Things were different in the DC comics after that, and the change was permanent. I guess what I'm saying is, depending on how similar the TV version is to the comics version, it may not be possible to skip the Crisis crossover and still understand what's happening on Supergirl afterward.
i know you love this show a lot but if you don’t finish at least arrow & flash before the crossover you won’t understand anything and a lot will change after it that will affect supergirl as well. you will be confused. waiting for your other reactions
I think you should watch the crossover because it won't spoil Flash and Arrow that much because they won't spend too much time on the plot line of the individual show.
They probably think the best way to keep your interest is to just keep teasing you and stringing you along. Maybe when the show is about to end they might finally say screw it and pull the trigger, but probably baiting is all your ever going to get.
I've been saying since this character popped up on this show that they need to get Lena out of this "good girl" role because even though people don't want to admit it, she is in fact a Luthor. She and Lex share a father Lionel, and Lena was the product of an affair he had. Having said that though, I can see where Kara, Alex, and Lena all are coming from. I just can't wait to see how this all plays out!
Where your coming from doesn't determine who you are, Lena has always tried to do the right thing with the her inteligence and overcome what was expected of her. You can come from the sweetest of upbringings and been a monster or coming from a broken and violent family and been the most good and selfless person on Earth, you always have a choice.
She’s her own person with can make her own choice, she’s not lex she’s not her father, she’s a heart broken person who’s goal is to remove the worse of humanity without harming anyone can’t say the same about lex or Lionel regardless of intent hurt one too many folks. The man in her life doesn’t define her since she’s doesn’t with them morally.
I like how you all think that removing the worst in humanity won't have damning repercussions. Since she has a choice in how she uses her intelligence that means there's no justification for what she just did. She will most likely try again and again

Lena’s mom was kind and loving and Lillian is evil and hateful. So they both get their genius minds from Lionel but they get their morals from their mothers. Lena is good. Katie McGrath even said it in an interview last week that Lena is fundamentally good. She just has trust issues and can be morally grey because of her Luthor upbringing.
I was just fine with how Lena was in seasons 3 and 4: she's a good person who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty when it comes to helping people she cares about, like learning how to make kryptonite just in case, or studying space magic metal to save her boyfriend's life. Kara can be the good girl in the light, while Lena can be the bad girl in the shadows when necessary. This season will hopefully end with Lena realizing she's crossed a line and gone too far into the darkness.

The end was Nash Wells, another version of Harrison Wells in the Flash. This season of the Flash, Nash has been digging up that part of the tunnel since he saw the Monitor go in there once. He states that “it can save Barry from the crisis”. Barry is supposed to die in the crisis but Oliver made a deal with the Monitor in Elseworlds crossover to save Barry and Kara in exchange for his own life. Lex Luthor has been with the Monitor all this time since he will be crucial for the crisis. You gotta see the other shows man.

U probably won't understand cause you need to watch the elseworlds crossover and season 6 of flash and 8 of arrow
The Supercorp scenes got me so bad in this episode and especially the ending but why do I feel that after crisis, they gonna pull a Shrek Forever After on us. Like Lex will be the Rumple in this and get what he wants from The Monitor and in toll, he will make it that Lena doesn't even know Kara and Kara haves to do everything in her power to get Lena back, hence the fight for Lena's soul. God, I will cry if they do this

In this episode Lena proved she is evil. In comics, the good guys most of the time doesn't fail. The bad guys must of the time thought they are doing the right thing. I think the next year, Supergirl will fight for her best friend redemption arc. Maybe in the 23rd chapter we will see Lena begin her return to the light side.
The scene juxtaposing both relationships is foreshadowing. I said it first here. Not saying Lena's going to die, but... well, Kara might fight to the end, but it doesn't mean she'll win...
