My heart's tonight in Irland. Greetings from Germany!
Same here. Saw Andy one month back in Wuppertal/Germany. Absolutely stunning. I‘m a zouk player myself, but don’t understand what he is doing on the fretboard while singing so great.
I wonder does Andy Irvine recall his solo performance in Santa Cruz California around the time of 9/11? It was a somber time but Andy rose to the occasion. It was my first and only time to see him live and it is ever etched in my memory, not only because of the historical impact of 9/11 but being Irish and in the company of an Irish musician on U.S. soil during that turmoiltuous time meant alot to me.
Absolutely hauntingly beautiful. and made all the English stand up and pay respect to Ireland. Respect all around
Glad you enjoyed it
