Ted’s dad reminds me of my dad sometimes. Always lecturing & wanting everything to be perfect & thinking Bill & Ted live in a fantasy world; yet he means well. He’s something else.
I already hated that guy because he can never believe in his son or Bill, but this really crossed the line, literally the only thing he did in the first movie was threaten to send Ted to military school without even giving him a chance.
I actually got my Dad to watch Bill & Ted 3 with me last night, and he really enjoyed it. Which is awesome because he always got so annoyed when I'd watch the first one as a kid. 🤣 Full circle, dude.😎
Lol haven't watched this movie yet, but considering they brought most of the original cast from the first two movies, including Ted's dad and Missy, it looks to be worth my money. Also they sure picked really well the actresses that play the daughters. They actually look like Keanu and Alex when they were young.
What I find especially amusing about the movie, is that as Ted's dad is STILL giving Bill and Ted a hard time about how they're getting by, living their lives, and even pulling the plug on the wedding song there, they are both several years older what the dad was in not only Excellent Adventure, but also Bogus Journey. Hal Was 47 and 50 in those movies, and yet here Bill and Ted are like in their mid-50s. It's weird, but amusing.

It's like imagine Bill and Ted there, going back in time to Bogus Journey, where they're OLDER than Ted's 50 year old dad, and imagine how awkward that would play out with them dealing with Ted's dad whose younger than Ted by that point in Ted's life.
People keep posting about Alex Winter being Marco in The Lost Boys and Ben Ten in Ben Ten But let's not forget that Keanu Reeves was Neo in The Matrix and John Wick in John Wick Let's not let Alex later career over shadow what Keanu did later
Talk about a retcon. Wild Stallions was supposed to have a songs and record that united the World and saved everyone. That's why everyone in the future knew them. In the movie, it implies it was just one song they did.
