Trash, EU Parliament, and Visiting Julia! | Lauren in Germany Episode 7

This vlog is a culmination of two weekends - one weekend with a mandatory program training and field trip to Strassbourg, and another weekend visiting my friend Julia in Kempten!
I was soooo excited to try Starbucks when I saw it in France (I know, basic right…but I’ve been craving a pink drink like crazy) and it tasted like dirty water. To be fair, it probably had less sugar…but that’s what I’m paying for LOL!
Otherwise, Strassbourg was beautiful and it was cool to check out the EU Parliament building (even if I was certain I’d see Emperor Palpatine around any corner).
Lastly, I was so happy to be able to visit my friend Julia in Kempten. We met while I was an au pair there and she was so sweet to make a short day trip with me to see Neuschwanstein for the first time.
Next week I move to my next placement…stay tuned to see where I end up!

Because the chemicals and carcinogens that are normally added to food in the US are banned in Europe because they destroy the health of children and adults, US companies had to adapt to it, as well as giving vacations or sick days, that's why many ran away 😀

Maybe that's why you don't like some foods in Europe, because they are prepared with fresh ingredients and with a minimum of chemicals that the USA puts in everything!
