Anyone who is not only an artist but can write music play it and sing is highly talented you are to be commended thank you for being such an inspiration and sharing all that you do hats off
By far the BEST feather tutorial online! I think I have watched hundreds, at least it feels like it. Concise, precise, slow so-we-can see-them directions. I learned so much.....so much. Each step was so understandable. OK. I'll stop!
I really appreciate all the labor that goes into you making these explanatory videos. Thank you for making art accessible to people who might otherwise be too intimidated by the materials to even try.
I held my breathe as you held the paint laden string over the cream canvas with your paint smudged gloves....I was feeling pensive about it until the end result....very beautiful👍☺
I feel like I could reach in through the screen and pick up one of those feathers and use it to sage my house. They are heavenly. The color combination is exceptional. PAM
I’m lurking and learning, before I dive into any pour art. This is first feather video I’ve watched and I bet I’ll be hard pressed to find a better piece. Beautiful!! And you had me holding my breath for a moment! Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely amazing as usual!! Your videos inspire me so much! I'm just a beginner and when I get frustrated I walk away and watch a few and get excited again. You're an excellent instructor thank you for sharing your talent 💕
OMG! I did string art with kids at the youth service agency I worked for, but THIS s truly beautiful art! I am blown away! Thanks for showing me this beautiful technique!
I learned A LOT and can't thank you enough for showing something that can be achieved by beginners, visually impaired and DO NOT GIVE UP! Your details are great and I thank you for sharing your color recipes and techniques. This is just a beautiful piece of art.
I love this and I so appreciate you showing the real-life moment when it looks like "dog doodoo" as you said and what you did to change it. Love it! This is beautiful!
I've just started acrylic pouring and one of the most important things I have learned is to appreciate all colors, not just my favorites (purple and red, primarily). If you had told me prior to this that brown could produce such beautiful results, I would have laughed. Now, because of wonderful artists like you, I try to consider all colors when starting a piece. Thank you for the inspiration.
Beautiful.. I did string feathers for a friend last week, used metallic purple, turquoise and magenta (her choice of colors) on a 12x24 canvas, at the top was a particial dream catcher. She loved it.
💖I’m not surprised...but these are the best feathers I have seen! I am a realist/graphic design person...so though it has been a bit of a struggle, I mostly embrace fluid pouring...so uncontrollable without great effort. Others feathers...well, don’t look like feathers to me...you so nailed it! 😊💖
Thank you. Ironically, before pouring, I wasn’t into abstract art. Even my abstract watercolors were still representational. Pouring has definitely helped me appreciate beauty for the sake of beauty, but I do love being able to use it in more intentional ways.
thank you for showing how to create beautiful art that doesn't take days to create. your work is beautiful and if I tried to paint the feathers I would have been there for hours plus lol!
I like this method...had not seen it before. Thank you for this video. Not too long ago I experimented with a string painting to do a rose (because I have not seen a video done on a rose). Using a well dipped string I layed down an uneven spiral then began its pull from the center. I made sure to drag it a little bit here and there during the pull but mostly directly upward. I wish I were more electronically educated so I could send a picture to you, because it turned out really nice. The parts that I did a little drag created some lumpy cells that gave it interest and the uneven spiral gave it instant layers of petals. I hope you try it because I know you would give it your "Gina" touch.
Wow!!! Wish there was a way to hit the “like“ button five or six times to emphasize just how much I like, love this painting. You always do such beautiful work!
Okay, I am watching this for the second time. Then I am going to try and do it today! This is the best I have seen. Glad I waited for you to share this.
I made a challenge of your video in my facebook group (acrylic pouring & fluid art nederland) and people like your video very much. So I'm trying your feathers too ofcouse, can't wait😀 Thank you for inspiring us😊
Gina you are pretty dang smart and talented! I was trying see this in my head and could not figure how you would make feathers with string. Bravo You are inspiring
Beautiful! I wonder if it would be easier to wet 3 strings at once for each feather. The 3 wet strings would cling together and would be easier to place in one line. Then pull the strings just like in the video.
This is beautiful ❤️. I can't wait to try this. I'm in love with the look of feathers. With enough practice I want to try peacock feathers. This I know is a long time down the road, but the journey will be an awesome one.
Awesome and stunningly gorgeous picture of your beautiful feathers 🪶! Thank you for sharing your beautiful art with us today!❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Anyone who is not only an artist but can write music play it and sing is highly talented you are to be commended thank you for being such an inspiration and sharing all that you do hats off

Just love how you do not panic and showed us how to keep going!❤

Oh, Gina...I just love how humble you are, and you're so fabulous. Really lovely.
Thank you. If you knew how big of a dork I was you’d know why I’m humble. 😂
🤭😂
I really appreciate all the labor that goes into you making these explanatory videos. Thank you for making art accessible to people who might otherwise be too intimidated by the materials to even try.

Beaucoup de délicatesse pour les plumes, j'aime 👍👍👍
Awesome. Something so simple but so beautiful!!!
Pretty, pretty, pretty. One for each feather.
I held my breathe as you held the paint laden string over the cream canvas with your paint smudged gloves....I was feeling pensive about it until the end result....very beautiful👍☺
You can probably hear me exhale after every string pull. I’m holding my breath too. 😂
I feel like I could reach in through the screen and pick up one of those feathers and use it to sage my house. They are heavenly. The color combination is exceptional. PAM
Wow. Thank you for your kind words.

Have you seen the channel of Kristin Oladatter from Sweden? Like Gina, very different from other pull and pour channels . 😍👍🏻🙏🏻😇💖
That is so beautiful! I bet some pastel feathers on a dark background would really pop.
Love these feathers. I’m going to try this. You’re amazing Gina!
Thank you 🙏
such patience ............ pretty

If Gina doesn't mind I would love to see yours
Sorry, it is at my friends house, she will varnish it after it is cured. I made it at her house as she lives in a different city than I do
What a peaceful beautiful artwork, well done
Thank you! 🙏
