- The Turahalli Forest is located about 20 km from Bengaluru off Kanakapura Road. Its 13 km from Banashankari and can be overseen from the NICE road. The forest has become a hot spot for cyclists. There is a small temple on top of a rocky hill. Turahalli forest is said to be Bengaluru's last surviving forest.
We went to Turahalli Tree Park, which is a part open to public and you can trek and enjoy offroad cycling there. It is a good place for nature photography and we saw some nature photographers capturing birds and different insects. We also saw slugs, leopard butterfly and different species of birds.
The place is like a forest without the danger of wild animal attacks.
We will cover Omkareshwara Hill in the next vlog which is a small hill in Rajarajeshwari Nagar in South Bangalore. With 2800 ft above the sea level this place is one of the highest points in Bangalore.
Opening Timings: 6 am to 10.30 am and 4.00 pm to 8:00 pm
Please carry your own bottle of water carry and food as this is a good picnic spot in Bangalore.

can we take pets?
I had not seen anyone walking their pets. However, I did notice 1-2 stray dogs roaming within the premises. Also there was no guard that early to stop or allow the pets 🙏🙂
