Always look forward until Thursday and Friday, and sucks when I’ve watched the Friday episode. Loving the truck sim too, being a driver myself, knowing all the roads is a good watch. So @Daggerwin I don't know if anyone have told you how the bale lifter are supposed to be used, but here is an hint on how it's used in the real life (operating vice) When you load the first bale, don't slide all the way to the back but only into the front so it can lift it. Then for the next bale, you drive the bale lifter right up to it kissing it with the already loaded bale before lowering it and then lower it, drive a bit forward so both are in the front and continue this for the last 3. This will ensure you don't drag the bales in the bale lifter and in FS's case also prevent the some of all the sliding you have when you were loading in the last video. Now if it's faster or not than just using the bale spike, then yes it is but it also all depends on the operator since if you are not skilled with the bale lifter but very skilled with the bale spike, then the bale spike will be faster.
O my with that disc. It's good FS19 doesn't simulate pain but that disc was a pain in the.... I remember dragging it with the MF 8160 almost 10 years ago. Sold it and bought a Gregoire Besson. Regarding the "designed to not turn the grass", this disc is actually capable of working the soil quite deep (I had it up to 18cm deep on second pass, and on soft spots it would go to the axles to almost 24 cm replacing the plough). It's got if I remember correctly 610mm disc which are big ones. It's actually more capable of turning the soil then the cultivator you are using in survival challenge and the 6m one in survival roleplay. The bad thing on this disc is it isn't "V" shaped or at least having the disc in on row at a side and it doesn't have a roller on the back. Those design(-flaws) create 5 ridges in the middle of the machine and on the end of each disc unit. Having to level that out for seeding wasn't fun at all! Also the disc comes originally as a trailer hitch but we put it on the 3 point, to have better control of lifting it out when we got stuck.
I'm late on the suggestion, but an idea for another survival challenge is to turn a forestry map into an ag map. Like grizzly mountain or something start by sawing out areas, moving logs. Then move in with small equipment. As an added difficulty you could be limited 120hp, so all the equipment would be small. Either way I love both survival series, and always look forward to new content!

Love this series. One thing I think you can do is sell the slurry and manure at the BGA and get some money for it and then it turns it into digestate. It adds an extra step but would make and save you a little money, plus you don’t need a solid manure spreader and a slurry spreader.
I know one thing I learned from this series, never start a new field by breaking ground. I find the borders of my land with a mower first, then come in with a plow. That way I can leave a tiny gap between the edge so I dont get that warning and have my equipment stop working randomly.

But you need to buy that plot of land first before you can cut the signs. Dont think he wants to make that investment, not the way the farm is currently set up...
Daggerwin, have you considered doing an animals only playthrough? Large pig/cow/horse farms and raising crops solely for animal care. (No selling crops) You could do contract work to get starting capital or maybe a family inheritance.
You were saying yesterday about restoring a gator. If anyone is interested, we recently replaced the centrifugal clutch in the 2004 gator at work and it cost over 1000 euro for the clutch alone. Might be cheaper in the uk, everything’s more expensive in Ireland🤨

Get a Meyco slurry tanker. It's a good capacity tank and you can put a same size cultivator to the back. The Massey Would be a good size for tanking but the Fiat is better for tanking because it has a cab XD
You should build the straw barn sell point so you can get better prices for the straw. Also with the potatoes, sell them at the BGA. Prices are very good usually
On our farm we do all of our breaking with disks. Ploughs dry everything out too much in our area. The disk you chose was a good choice for heavy breaking

You should do an 24 hour special, where an entire server can transform and build on no mans land. Maybe try to build the ultimate farming society or something. With people focussing on certain crops and animals and a big role for atonomy and precission farming. Idk, just a fun idea.

You need to use the flatbed trailer as a service trailer.i mean when you are planting have your seed on it.tgen when it is time to fertilize crops put your feet tote on the trailer and take it to the field rather then fold up the sprayer
Well probably I'm late, but instead of hardcore you should do a super realistic play-through, like with seasons mod, precision farming and any mods that improve the realism of the game, with crop destruction on, lime applications etc. Now that I think about it, that in itself would make the game extremely hard lol

Daggerwin if you don’t like round bales then get the John Deere square baler it’s only 12k and the big fiat will pull it easy

Plow your fields you are at 15% yield loss right now. I would recommend the lizard 6m on mod hub its 6 meters.

Yes 4d Modding is making a sugar beet harvester it should be done soon and will work great with ur fiat doesnt look like it needs much hp👍

Disks are used to break up ground and they are sometimes used to break up sod. But they are really good for working land.
Sell the 3 drill`s and buy one big drill instate :-)

I think it is faster if you are not selling te balles. Just transport them out of the way.

Are you gonna just leave stumps in your new field? You have burried them, will be hard to find and it will definitely be in the way for seeding tools
You could also give pigs potatoes instead of sugar beets. I would also think it would be better to grow corn to give the pigs rather than sugar beets
