Very nicely done, boat looks great and if that is done in 1 month that is an incredible job. I am already waiting for 5 weeks for my new carpets and by the time I get them in the boat it will be 2 months, at least. So 4 weeks is outstanding. This boat looks superb, fresh and inviting, am pretty sure you actually increased the value of the boat as well, which is not always the case with refits. Hats off to Setag. 👍👍👍
I really enjoyed the cheerful, relaxed, good natured format of the whole presentation. I think you promoted Setag very well. Congratulations ,James.
Incidentally, a gentleman, such as yourself, does not " sweat". You " perspire ",elegantly. lol
In yet another innovation James you have introduced "Smelly-Vision" onto "Poo-Tube" ;)
Stunning refit! Hope to get a look at the show today
Impressive work, especially in the very short amount of time. Well done
Fantastic. Absolutely great content. 👏👏
Had a good look around your Squaddie 58 next door to the 42. Absolutely stunning!
James, I saw this boat on Aquaholic today!
I recommended your channel in the comments to other boat fans because you are a genius.
Fantastic Vlog James, as always - love this refurb side of things - makes an affordable boat a gem ! This one is amazing, what a difference before and after. Love to see more refurbs too. Thanks for sharing
And you do have an amazing way with your vlogs...so informative and real. Like Nick B. We cannot miss any episodes lol...you two changed it for so many ? We also loved the vlog with yr dad...way back 🤗 Thanks for sharing James👍when we buy...you will be the first port of call.
@@patriciab3739 ah thank you. Yes Dad is a pretty big character. He still works a full week at 80 years old and has an aerobatic plane 😂
Hi James. Thats another fantastic refit. These guys at Seatag know how to make a boat special. Efficient, cost effective and on time. Aquaholic socks would look good too. Great video thanks 😊
one month for all that? for 50 grand???
AMAZING!!!
I love your tours because if you don’t like something you’re not afraid to speak up about it. Unlike other yacht tour video makers on TH-cam I could mention.
Met Chris yesterday & he was kind enough to let aboard for a look. She does look fantastic (& smells great!). Chris is a nice friendly chap, who also gave us some inside info on a new client.
Blown that out of the park, what a fantastic job at making a very affordable boat feel super luxurious, take my hat off to you
James, I saw this boat on Aquaholic today!
I recommended you and your sock sofa demonstration and floss test in the comments area to other boat lovers. I really want to introduce your ingenious tests of boats to them.
Awesome job guys. Even better than SY1? A real perception of depth of quality here.👌
Mate I love the socks we also love your funny videos very entering in these funny times please keep them up well done
Setag seem like a great company! And when you think about the cost of an older boat and then allow 20% of that price for a great refit it starts to look pretty good value. The only thing I would have done (apart from the teak on the flybridge), and this is very trivial, but I would re-do the font on the name of the boat at the back as it looks like someone stuck the name on with insulating tape ;-)
Beautiful boat 😍
looks awesome mate
First of all love the socks secondly lovely job on the boat leather looked lovely great stuff.😎😎😎
Hi all done great love it
Its very interesting the relationship that you have with Setag, have you known the team/owner for a long time as its seems like it. The quality does stand out and I am glad that you showed the engine bay. From the carpets to the kitchen the work is really first class. Would they also upgrade the electronics as well, would be interested to see the next boat with them improved as well. Love how you smell the leather and get excited about the quality of hand stitching. No shout window demonstration is my only grape.
They seem to be experts/partners with Raymarine, but on a 12 year old boat depending on use that might be costly overkill.
Stunning James. For anyone like myself that’s quite deaf, it was Holly Hunt leather, not what you immediately think James said. I had to go back and double check with the subtitles on as I heard something completely different to hunt. I nearly fell off my chair when you started to sniff the “Holly Hunt” .
The socks are great!!
Great video again, very insightful and a great advert for SeTag, however pls buy a DJI Gimbal (£100ish) to stop the jerky playback making the videos much much smoother to watch 👍🏼
Looks great. It probably isn't wholly appropriate on this video but I did like your "Cash Burn" metric you used on an earlier video and hope you keep using that.
Great video, perhaps you can do a video on why you prefer shaft drive to other propulsion set ups (I guess IPS).
I was there today 😃. Love the socks. I am looking for a 90s sundancer for a refurb. (Best i can afford for now)
Lovely job , didn't manage to say hello Saturday so may pop over again this weekend. Would like to see these refits also check out the workmanship they look great. On another note, certainly not trying to compensate for anything with that little thing 🎤
Love it only in England you two sat on the back of the boat with your socks on ! I like this more than the first one quality work no doubt on this one, agree on the fly bridge teak or even fake teak would really lift it , what intrigues is why are the electronics systems etc upgraded ? Are they modern enough already ? Surely as its a boat its the first thing you would look at ? When Jim Davison showed his upgrades it was more about his new Tecnology are people not that concerned as they only use these boats for short trips and coastal cruising ?? Always amazes me the emphasis is on the cushions sofas and cup holders rather than the radar, night vision, bow thrusters, electronic navigation etc. Is it because you can get so much of this on an i pad now so quantum leaping fixed systems like in many small planes ?
Thanks Paul. Some customers want looks , some tech and some both. It all adds up though 😊
Another enjoyable and informative tour James, but the volume went low after talking to my friend Chris Gates and it was hard to hear what you were saying about the engines. As always a completely interesting and humorous tour James.
Good to meet you at the show James and I agree the Fairline done by SeatTag is stunning and probably better than when it was new and the interior really does smell amazing.
Your vids are fun 👏👍, I wonder if they need to start making car air fresheners from this type of leather? 🤔 ❤️🇬🇧
Devil is in the detail and you definitely sold the yacht and refit by setag, the quality is definitely up their with the higher end yachts if not slightly better. I think you are right that the fly bridge/sun deck needs teaking to give it that extra finish and touch of class…i would of like to see the kitchen/galley done out like the colour and gloss style cabinetry of the renewed coffee table, the wood is nice but considering the quality of the rest of the refit is think it got out shone and looked slightly dated in comparison but that’s just my choice.. great video and content..10/10👍
You are such a great showman/presenter please get your camera person a proper self leveling handle thingy 😊
If those engines had to come out, what work would be involved? Looks like they wouldn't come out very easily...
Love the outtakes at the end BTW.... :)
Thanks Nick. Saloon floor up. Saloon doors out and out they come. These engines should do 20,000 hours before rebuild so should be ok 😎
That tie made me think you'll start the video saying: _Name's Barke. James Barke_ 🤠
@@Boatscouk The Monaco boat show will be ideal for the secret agent James Barke to make his grand entrance. You'll make that Monte Carlo Casino yours😉
Overpriced leather and some paint... 50k. Rich people have too much money.
What a waste of money 3000 fir a cow hide for a helm seat what a joke!!!
What a waste of 50 k !To recover sofa seats ?it cost a couple of thousands to do that !Some one was silly and ripped off😳honestly what a circus 🤡 in a clown socks
Great work on the mic! Plus it’s clear to establish you like the smell of the leather! Superb job
The leather smelt good 😊
