I am more of an Undertale fan but I am familiar with both games, and it's crazy how they were able to merge the two together. Wow.

With how much effort went into the art and music, they really didn't have to go the extra mile, so it's really cool they did!
In case you don't know what is that 3d cursed Toriel, That was actually a real thing that appeared during the Undertale Nintendo Switch trailer, It was basically chasing Mad Mew Mew and shoot lasers out of her eyes. You'll see it when you look back at the old trailer. You're welcome and amazing video :D
It appeared in every trailer, plus the sixth anniversary stream and a few other instances.
3d Toriel is a recurring gag that Toby has confirmed is 100% canon to Undertale.

In this fangame, the default option is Spare(Mercy), in normal Undertale the default option is Fight, that's a detail that I appreciate and like a lot

The cursed 3D Toriel is a reference to the Undertale trailers. She has appeared in basically every Undertale trailer so far.
An absolute masterpiece... This is gonna be BIG when it's fully released!
Edit: Also Merg, you may feel more comfortable using WASD for moving and DFJK to play, since your left hand will only be 1 key away the note inputs... At least that works for me :)
Still, he's used to playing undertale with his *right hand* with the arrow keys, like all fangames do. Suddenly using your left hand for it is a bit awkward.
Basically this mod turned fnf into an RPG rhythm game.
Not complaining though as it is actually quite cool as hell!

The amount of joy i get from being early is unprecedented. Merg, u bring me a joy and comfort i cant get from anywhere else, idk how long ive been watching u but u r the only person ive been watching for this long that i havent dropped yet because no matter what u keep me entertained

I left FNF after its initial boom a year or so, because I wasn't really into the Sonic.exe and Pibby stuff, but then I saw this video in my reccomended and I was like "Sure lets give it a shot and see the track remixes" since I was back into Undertale
I wasn't at all expecting an entire overworld system with Undertale's trademark Bullet Hell and Choice mechanics
FNF fans sure are determined this is crazy and I kinda like this

idk if anyone said this yet but the toriel from mychild is the one from multiple undertale trailers (specifically from the switch trailer with mew mew i think)
I'm impressed with the Flowey part, especially his voice and animation.
Boyfriend's reaction to Flowey would probably be anyone's reaction to seeing a talking flower out of nowhere

This is my review of the mod.
Personally, I liked many parts of this. The music presented an homage to the original while flouting it's own music.
I enjoyed the mix of bullet hell vs. rythm gameplay.
The art is quite a good balance between Undertale and FNF, which I really like. I especially liked the art transition.
Where it falls is how disorienting it was for me, being quite the fan of undertale, the dialogue was too straight to the point. I get having it different as it's in fnf, but the dialogue style of characters strayed far from the original. I would have preferred the dialogue patterns that are found in the original but with custom text that would fit the altered story of this mod.
Overall, I think it's a great mod.
Through Nabstablook's tranzperenze you could see the german words 'für dich', which mean 'for you'.
Nice one Merg! This mod is super exciting on what it has in store.

Merg, you should really play Little Nightmares 1 and 2, and also Oneshot!
Little Nightmares is a lot like Just Shape and Beats and Stray (well, more like the cat) in the aspect that no characters talk yet they still have distinct personalities, and LN has its own horror element too, it's really creepy and fun.
Oneshot is a game A LOT like Undertale in the way that it meddles with the player and not just the characters. You can have a unique connection with the main character of Oneshot, and it's also a fun puzzle game where you have to delve into the game files to figure it out!
Edit: just found out he played oneshot, gotta add that into my to-do list to watch

Hey merg! For the controls side, I suggest you play AS ^> as your controls, so your right hand is already on the arrow keys for movement AND singing. It just kinda works out.

They actually coded in like 4 different optional random encounter songs, which is pretty cool. The coding is broke though, hence why you could leave after the first one.

The cursed 3D-Toriel was from the Undertale Trailer. In the part where she appeared, that abominaton breaks a 3D-wall while saying "my child you are breaking my heart." The scene also had a little subtitle: "Probably not actual game footage?".
I was honestly not expecting the cursed 3D Toriel from the trailers lol.
