Dogma Rules:
1. Cut 1 circle out of watercolor paper. Paint the circle in the same color as your thread, just in a lighter in value. Cut a little smaller circle in a checked squared paper/ graph paper/ ternet/kvadreret papir.
2. Draw (and play) a pattern on the square paper, lay it on the top of the watercolor paper and pre poke holes through both papers. Poke where the 2 lines crosses. Stitch your pattern with straight stitches/ forsting/risting.
3. Use 3 different thicknesses of thread in the same color of your choice.

I am enjoying your techniques. My maternal great grandparents immigrated from Denmark in 1869. I was fortunate to have some memories of my Great Grandmother Hannah. Thank you for sharing your work and processes.
Thank you. Many danish people emigrated so there must be some of you with Danish blood. And you’re welcome
Watching you brings my grandmother and her daughters to mind.

Very beautiful project 🎉 As you I love sewing paper, it is so relaxing 😊
Thank you 🙏
It’s “graph paper” we use it for algebra classes when working math problems!!
I asked a English women I know and she called it what I wrote. It can probably be named different depending on witch country you live in.
Here in Denmark we just bue it in pads like the once with lines.
If you go to an office supply store and ask for “graph paper” you’ll get it but there are different size squares available. You did great designs as a child. Born with your talent😊❤️
