I have a suggestion, I cut some triangular shapes from an acetate clear folder and on top of that, I used the glue gun, it loked very good and it avoids the limp ice. i did mine with wax paper. I measured the circumference of my head, marked the wax paper, then marked the cent front and made the shape of the crown. then I made the headband, and from there I made the crown. the paper helps support the crown. I just cut the tips of the paper to the shape of the tips. and I glued the ends together. you cant see the wax paper it blends in
if you use parchment paper you don't have use a plate and pam the glue will literally not stick to it I've been doing my own ice crown and it's the best thing ever
