    Thank you Maam. You have eliminated the fear for doing doppler in the first place. Also you have mae us incline to doing doppler and actually seeing what you have taught

    Thank you for this video Dr. Bapat. I have a question for you if you have the time. When I perform an AV fistula ultrasound duplex, I always indicate and adjust my settings so flow away from the heart (arteries) is red and flow toward the heart (veins) is blue. When I perform this duplex in say, a brachial-cephalic fistula, I adjust so the arterial spectral doppler signals are antegrade and the venous flow is retrograde. I take my velocities and volume flow readings with the venous waveform retrograde and the color doppler signal is blue. Is there anything wrong with performing the exam this way?

      Colour convention is up to the operator- as long as the technique is correct, there is no worry

    Thank you ma'am 😊 how much should be the Normal flow volume sampled at the fistula, I mean the normal range?

    • @IndianRadiologist
      @IndianRadiologist  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Usually a mature fistula reveals a blood volume flow of around 600 to 1300 ml/ min
      Thanks. Dr Mrudula Bapat

      Appreciate video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you tried - Reyameron Linkify Blitzkrieg (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for learning how to avoid dialysis and boost your kidney health minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate after a lifetime of fighting got excellent results with it.
