Lol. Billie underwent many changes. Just like us. In his High School days he was the typical buffed up, tight shirt wearing guy. Then during the Dookie era, he was a little skinnier than usual. During the Nimrod and Warning eras he was chubby (but as cool as fuck), now Green Day's probably in their best state. But I do wish they'd lessen the promos and MTV exposures.

I remember when Green Day appeared with the first two CDs and everyone was trashing them because they were not "real punk". Old Green Day songs were all the time called "pop music". I'm pretty sure that in a few years this "new Green Day will be considered punk and "future GD" will be called pop. It's always like that :D But I totally respect your taste.
grew up with these lads on triple j, good to see their progression in to different styles ,genres as they grown and matured so should their music,, rebellious teens to, loving fathers/ husbands, and great show men that are still enjoyable to hear,,,,hope to hear more from them for many years,,

@Soxicmusic That is who they WERE. They always change their music for each album. Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod etc don't sound alike. They've even changed their whole image and started a new band (The Network, foxboro hot tubs) cause they wanted to play different kind of music. If they kept making albums that sounded like Dookie, they wouldn't have lasted as long as they have.
