The price of some of those hardbacks are the same price as paperbacks here. I'm really jealous! I now understand why American booktubers have a lot of hardbacks though I understand they're not all that cheap in normal stores. Hardbacks here vary from £10 on Amazon (though it's quite rare so it's a deal you have to snag fast, usually about £13) to £17 book shop prices. £17 is almost $22. Half price books needs to expand their empire!

Today to treat myself I walked around a park and the neighborhood around the park for like 3 hours because it’s nice today in HTown. Then I walked to the library and got two books!!

Man, I wish we had those book shops here. There are a few independent second hand shops that will buy old books off you for credit but you can't take it elsewhere and their stocks are super limited compared to all those amazing looking places you visited! I also seem to have the alternating weeks of ups and downs. It sucks but I'm trying to take advantage of the up ones.
A good treat yourself day is necessary weekly in my mind. I too enjoy a good used bookstore it’s as if going on a treasure hunt.. Aside from book shopping I enjoy making a new or old recipe and if able to just get away on a day getaway a dayaway from my town/house/responsibilities

And of the Guild Hunter series I LOVE the fifth book so much :') To treat myself I usually bake, go for walks to the park while listening to music, and buy new clothes or a new lipstick :) Sometimes books, but I've been burned with buying books without reading them first and when I read them I'm like: ugh whyyyyyyy.

Vegas is a little chilly rn (well for people from Vegas it’s chilly) and expected to get chillier so pack for it! Also if you get a chance you should go to The Writer’s Block which is a cool little book shop in downtown. There’s also sweet bars and places to see around it like The Container Park
I always take a list of ten books to HPB so I can end up finding 2-3. The books I want now are a little obscure. 😟 white chocolate mocha is my fave Starbucks drink! ☕️📚📚📚📚📚📚 I keep a box in my closet that I slowly fill with read books and when it gets full, I take it to HPB.

What resort are you going to in Colorado? I grew up in Boulder (now live in the uk), and every couple months me and my family would go to vail, Breckenridge, winter park, and beaver creek, and we would occasionally go to others. I could give some recommendations for places if you want. It's beautiful there in the winter. I'll be back in Colorado in December too!
