7+ months in the making. It’s taken a lifetime but it’s finally here. Never expected the final video to be this long so let me know if you make it all the way through without skipping 🤣 I honestly couldn’t tell you why this project took the better part of a year to complete because I genuinely don’t know where the time went. Sure, I stopped for a while to make Justice League customs in March and was away working in CA for most of the summer, but 2021 has really been the fastest year I have ever experienced in my life. Going through the footage of starting these figures and realizing it was apparently 10 months ago really freaked me out 🤯 Over all that time though, each figure presented new/unique challenges and often ungodly amounts of work that I frankly wasn’t prepared for (especially on Ahsoka) 🎨📌 It was so worth it though. Like I say in the intro: The Mandalorian S2 was so special, and to me it would always be worth celebrating at any time. The season gifted us with the live action debuts of Cobb Vanth, Bo-Katan, Ahsoka, Boba Fett’s return with Fennec Shand, Dark Troopers, and of course Luke Skywalker. Never once did I think we would see so many amazing appearances from that many iconic Star Wars characters naturally woven into an 8-episode story like that. What they achieved with The Mandalorian S2 was amazing and unprecedented 👏 Would I have loved to make even a half custom of Cobb Vanth or Fennec Shand too? Absolutely, but it’s finally time to move on from this and get back to MCU customs again. I’ve been missing it a lot this year 🥺 The Mandalorian S2 project would not have been possible without NatesMinifigs, LM9 Productions, Tuminio, etc. Huge thanks once again to everyone who contributed directly/indirectly ✅👊 Can’t tell you how much I appreciate those of you who still stick with me, because I honestly don’t know that I would have done the same considering how long you all had to wait for this! I just want to say what a Journey it’s been seeing you make these figures. You inspired me to come back to customising after 3 years after seeing you start working on your mando. And to that I say thank you for everything you’ve done for this Community because you are truly a talented person and I’m sure you’ve heard that 100s of times before but I really mean it man. And while you’re working on these figures I’ve been improving my skills and craft. Start of this year I made my season 2 figures like boba Ashoka and so on. But looking back now there’s many things I would have change and done differently and I’m starting to make this a full time hobby and hopefully to go far and make figures and show people what I like to do and how I make them. Like you. So this video for you may just be another long awaited show case. But for me this video shows me my Journey this year. And I’m sure your very proud of these figs because there amazing. Yo Ross, Im a bit confused because you painted the left side of boba's helmet (the side without the rangefinder) gold. It seems to be gold in book of boba but more olive green in mando what reference image did you use to come to this conclusion?
