I've been struggling learning to give readings because when I would read the description of each card it would be all of those "spiritual" bs cliche statements and I felt like such a played out douche saying them... And that I could have said the same thing to anyone. So this was exactly what I needed to hear, thank you
Thank you so much for your insight! The eight of swords is an interesting card to say the least ^^ I always appreciate the idea of her rubbing against the swords to free herself. I especially appreciate your comment to "Trust the comparison before your intuition" ... It seems that may be a form of intution too. Thank you again!
Thank you, that was very helpful. I have a tendency to lead towards cliche and fortune-cookie statements in general, not just during tarot. I'm glad to have found this video that points this out to me. I can't wait to start practicing being more detailed and specific, now.
excellent advice. It is all to easy for a reading to devolve into fortune cookie platitudes. It is so important to trust in the cards and read them for what they are
You become a better reader using intuition. And looking outside the box. There is 78 cards life has more meanings then that. We hold ourselves back when just going on meanings I have done it when I first began thankfully I learned quickly. Ty for the video
The decks well 2 of the main decks I use have alot of rider Waite style images but not all. The witches tarot 8 of swords is just 8 swords in air and a butterfly. The second is alice from alive in wonderland surrounded by flamingos 😂so it's very different as far as the photo
I was JUST THINKING ABOUT thia very card last night, and your expertise matches my discovery! Thank you for making these videos. One question: the painting on the left......who painted that? German artist?
Thank you for your excellent advice. Reading the image in the cards is an approach that does give excellent results with the Rider Waite deck and others that follow the same system. But what approach do you suggest for Marseilles or Thoth style decks that have non illustrated pip cards? Should these be read in a more standard manner by learning the traditional meanings, applying Astro or numerological associations or more intuitively, relying on the pattern of suits, color, etc..
Yes when your deck has pips instead of pictures...I follow Vincent Pitisci. He used Marseilles and teaches with RWS. His videos and books are great. Keywords for all the cards (number based) then let the creative process go from there.
yes but the picture itself is showing us that the woman has strayed far from home, but she didn't blind fold herself nor tie her hands behind her back and close her self in, also remember we are in a world of deception & blame "its all your fault"!!

Think that you are Moses and "God" gave you the tarot. No other interpretations exist. Now begin.
I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. Thanks!
Hi John. Kat from Michigan, USA. Yes I appreciate your video. I am trying to learn as much as I can so that I help not hinder. Thank you.

Good way of explaining that. It's good to use intuition not only go on meanings

I recall when a gypsy told me my heart had been broken. I was stunned. How did she know?! Lol
